Seriously! Enough with the Covid crap!

I am not finished with this book, and I really hope I can finish it. I read the reviews about all the ridiculous Covid drama but I figured it couldn’t be that bad…….BUT IT IS WORSE! It’s beating a dead horse-a dead, over-publicized horse that we are all tired of. And guess what people are saying about Covid now? It may as well be a sinus infection. It was all ridiculous and the author hits the subject stupid-hard in every. single. chapter. Get over it.

I don’t usually leave a bad review but this book was just not good. The narration is monotone to the point of annoying. She story is basically any Lifetime movie you’ve ever watched-no big twists or surprises. And the killing of 2 puppies in a drawn out descriptive setting is just unnecessary. I wanted to just stop it there but I hate quitting a book in the middle. But if that is a trigger for you-like it is for me-then skip this one-I sure wish I had.

This was a really good book. Granted, it did start slow, but the suspense builds and the story hooks you slowly. Also, yes…the little girl’s voice grates at first-but seriously-when kids actually say, “Mommy!” one thousand times everyday-it grates in any voice! (And I can say so-I am a mother.) it’s a free read, and I think it is very well done.

This was a really good story! It was quite twisted…enough to keep my interest. But the twist! Wow! I did t see it coming. Characters were very believable. The story may have been a little far-fetched, but in today’s world-who knows?! Definitely worth a credit.

I figured this as an easy, in-between books fix-but WOW! It started out sounding a bit like a Lifetime movie, but by the second half, you’re sucked all the way in-and THEN….you’re blown away. I could not believe the twist-the ending-certainly not what I would have ever expected! Highly recommend!!!!

Starts out verrrry slow…..but trust me-stick with it-the last half well makes up for the slow start. Just when you think you have it figured out-you find out you were completely wrong! Easy read. Narration is very well done.
