I tried listening to this book in several scenarios; riding in the car, running, alone time. I feel overwhelmed and lacking already but after the 1st 2 hours I was done. There was absolutely nothing helpful. Maybe I could keep listening but who has time to waste listening to how busy or not busy all these other women are. It felt like a real time waster. Just get in there and tell me how they do it already. All the talk about studying other people’s lives is so useless to me. If you aren’t making 6 figures or more does this book even apply. Nannies? Hiring nannies. That’s it. That’s how they do it. I really don’t know and I’m tired of trying to listen to a book that just increases my anxiety.

Historia
Empathetic and excellent advice from one of our nation's leading Housing Authority experts, having served in leadership roles across eight major U.S. cities and one in Canada. In his book, Housing Humans- A Vicarious Memorandum, Gene first describes his early childhood and military life and details how his experiences led him to finding his ultimate calling in working to improve the lives of others via affordable housing. Gene later articulates his specific call-to-action for national housing reform.

Just keep in mind it’s a memoir

It should be labeled as an autobiography, not a solution to homelessness. Very disappointed in the entire experience as it gives the impression it will teach us how to help but I am still at a loss of what to do to get started. Housing teens who age out of foster care to prevent homelessness is my priority and this did nothing to help. Glad he’s lived an awesome life helping others. It’s just not the book I thought it would be.

Historia
Do you want to know what Jesus said about prayer? Jesus' ministry was told through the Gospels in the Bible. I have chosen the Gospel According to Matthew because the context is personable and relatable. Biblical passages from Matthew about Prayer. Personal life experiences where prayer worked. Applicable knowledge to use prayer throughout life's circumstances.

It wasn’t worth my audible credit. The chapters could have been blog posts they were so short, nothing meaty or very useful here if you’re looking for depth. Read the scriptures and save your money. Oh and the mispronunciation of words by the reader are hard to to ignore.

Discover the bottomless, refreshing Well of God’s Word―and experience a fullness and peace beyond your circumstances. In the chaos of our everyday, it can be difficult to live out and apply the truths of Scripture. We want more of Jesus, but we find ourselves looking to our own lives and accomplishments for our worth and identity. And while that may buoy us for a time, we’re often left feeling dried up, discouraged, and longing for more.

You may know Anjelah Johnson for her viral sketch "Nail Salon" (over 100 million views globally) or her beloved ghetto-fabulous MadTV character Bon Qui Qui, but it's her clean humor and hilarious storytelling that make her one of the most successful stand-up comedians and actresses today. With her razor-sharp wit, Anjelah recounts funny stories from her journey.

Ehhh. She’s funny…
Revisado: 03-28-22
I loved this at first, but it took a weird turn with the whole dog chapter. I love Anjelah but it was almost like she ran out of material. Also, telling people it’s okay to talk to demons. I’m out. Now I need me some Ron Phillips after that ending. It’s sad how someone loses who they are (and takes others with them) while trying to find themselves and please the world.

I can’t even pay attention to what is being said for trying to process the voice and the crazy inflections. Good god! Who talks like in real life. I’ll just buy the book. Can I get a refund on the audiobook please?
