Historia
Becoming a knockoff Dracula in tight leather pants was never part of Vincent’s plans. Neither was being summoned to another world by a cult of vampire wannabes. But both happened. Now, Vincent’s left to pick up the tattered pieces of his humanity as he tries to grow strong enough to keep his family safe. The world is filled with nightmares, and the looming threat of losing his soul stands between his goal and his reality, so it’s not like it will be too hard or anything. Hell should tremble. A good man is going to war.

A non serious comedy
Revisado: 07-18-23
It is very serious situations but the MC attitude makes it a comedy. He seams take nothing seriously, though it doesn’t mean that he always tells jokes thank god. He is humerus without jokes.
The MC is a serious person who knows what he wants and works single minded towards it.
He doesn’t care how many poppies he have to kick to get it done.

Good start
Revisado: 05-28-22
It's a good start to the series but deeply dependent on its sequels.
The problem is that it's one of those long stories that need many books to get any where in the story.

Bad writing or that kind of story?
Revisado: 04-06-22
I have read this kind of story before, with the same kind of what I would say bad writing and weird repeating of people's thoughts. Like a character will say what they feel about a character and why in their thoughts and then maybe three sentences later they will repeat how they feel again and along with the reason again. But as I wrote before, I can't say that this is wrong because I have read similarly books before that do the exact same things along with other peculiar stuff in how they write story. So for this book I think it is intentional, just not for me.

Funny but only the same jokes over again.
Revisado: 10-18-20
It was as funny as the previous book but it felt like it was the same jokes over and over. I like the jokes in the beginning but then it just when on. So if that does not bother you and you enjoyed the previous book you will enjoy this book.

As good but leaves a few lose threads.
Revisado: 11-30-19
I would say that it is as good as the previous in the series but it leaves a few lose threads. Not to spoil, some times some characters talk about a side problem that needs to be fixed but then it is not addressed again. These are things are miner and they did not talk about them could be ignored, but sens they talked about them they should have been solved in the end.
This to me made the feel the ending was rushed.
I could be wrong and these are openings for future side stories. But otherwise as good as the previous.

Historia
The epic and highly anticipated conclusion to the listener-favorite series that had countless Audible listeners (and employees) hooked from the very first Bob - featuring, as always, a flawless performance from the inimitable Ray Porter. Being a sentient spaceship really should be more fun. But after spreading out through space for almost a century, Bob and his clones just can't stay out of trouble. They've created enough colonies so humanity shouldn't go extinct.

Lost focus
Revisado: 08-09-17
Any additional comments?
This story began as a man in a computer discovering space and helping humanity in it's darkest hour with intresting sciensficten consepts. But it has lost focus form that to answering questions that have already been answerd. The filosofi questions were intrresting but no new questins comes and the answers we have gotten seems a little childish.
It weekest link in the prevous books have I feelt been the main character's personality and in this book the main fouces seems to be the main character and his relatentips. This came att the price of the of all the rest.
This book was soppos to be about how the bobs feel down after the battle and how they preper for the next battle. But thats not even half the book. "But the Bobs are less disciplined than a herd of cats" that is hardly in the story and lastly the Brazilian probes where only in one section of the book.
The biggest pdisepointment came in the end. Not just the cliffhanger ending, witch is pritty easy to geuss if the writer doesn't make 180 degrees turn. No, it was with Hoard and Riget (Don't know how to spel her name) relatentip. Far too much attention on that, witch would have been fine if there part in the story ended here but it seems they will coninue in the center of the next book.
At this point I don't know if I'm going to read the next one.

Good start, Bad end
Revisado: 11-14-15
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The start with the world setting was great and with the characters. I would have given the antagonist more depth with a reason for doing it and I would not done Alina in to a character who only does what others think is the best. Else I would have her make som of her own decision.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I would have maid it so to give Alina more resening then just that she's in love or trying to survive. Maybe with giving more thought to how her escape would go.
What does Lauren Fortgang bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Don't know
Do you think Shadow and Bone needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Yes, with the way it was written it rellay needed a seconde book, unless the author wanted a openended story.

Historia
The most important rule for an Apprentice Consul is simple: Don't get involved with daemons. Well, Piper is planning to break that rule - big time. After a near-deadly scandal with the Sahar Stone, she has the chance to return to the only life she's ever wanted. All she has to do to keep her Apprenticeship is forget about Ash and Lyre. Ash might be enigmatic and notoriously lethal, and Lyre might be as sinfully irresistible as he is irritating, but they're not bad for a couple of daemons.

Better then Chase the Dark
Revisado: 08-09-15
Where does Bind the Soul rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I would not say taht it was the best audiobook I've listend to but it's still one of the better.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Again as in Chase the Dark the ending was not obvious but not strangely twisting like in some books.
Did Jorjeana Marie do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Some characters did sounde similar but I didn't get confused by it. She didn't sounde like she had a cold like in Chase the Dark.
Any additional comments?
Bind the Soul left like feeling that it could or maby need another in the series but it also feelt like ot could end there but then it would feel a little like unfinished.

Disappointing
Revisado: 08-02-15
What disappointed you about Throne of Glass?
In the first book I feelt that the story stayed true to the characters but in this book the characters broke my suspension of disbelief.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
It was not predictable but it was not that big of a surprise that it ended that way.
What three words best describe Elizabeth Evans’s performance?
Good, Strong & Normal
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Throne of Glass?
I don't think cuting out scens would help rather rewrite key things that some of the characters do.
