This is a fascinating story about family, tragedy and illness. Sean Pratt’s delivery of this story is a work of art. Whether telling the story from the family’s perspective or explaining scientific research, he keeps the listener enthralled. If you’re a person that appreciates warnings for trigger issues, know that the scope of this story contains a myriad of sensitive topics.

I got this because I loved "Blue Midnight," the first book in this series. This book weaves in elements of the first, but is also a fully stand-alone novel. The author took a supporting character from Blue Midnight and turned her into the main character. The same narrator did both books, and did a wonderful job making the main characters distinct and uniquely their own. I highly recommend it!

This book was much more than I expected. It seems to be going one direction when you're thrown a twist...or two. The narrator gives an authentic performance. With an engaging voice, she performs characters that are distinct, yet relatable. I'm so glad this is a series, because there's so much depth of character and story, that I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Murdered Twice builds layers of intrigue as a great protagonist - Dectective Sue Gibbs - has to investigate a murder in her small town. In some cases, interrogating some of her best friends and fellow community members. "The Forgotten Coast" of Florida is like a character of its own, and plays an important role. The narrator, Amanda McKibbin Ogle, deftly navigates the multiple points of view and expertly voices an array of interesting characters.

I couldn't stop listening and enjoyed every minute. There were 3 narrators to distinguish the main characters, and especially with the element of mystery, it makes it so compelling to hear the characters' perspectives. All performances were wonderful, but I give special kudos to Therese Plummer for her portrayal of Eve.
