Historia
In the wake of Napoleon's defeat in 1814, the globalists of the day (mostly monarchs) sought to create a governing arrangement for Europe. Within forty years, three of the major participants were at war with each other. After World War I, they tried again at Versailles, this time even more aggressively changing boundaries of nations and moving populations. That attempt only lasted twenty years before another major war between the participants. Yet again, after World War II, globalists used the threat of the atomic bomb to try to form an international government with the United Nations.

Historia
In 2001, Ian McKellen put on the robe and pointed hat of a wizard named Gandalf and won a place in the hearts of Tolkien fans worldwide. Though his role in the film adaptation of Lord of the Rings introduced him to a new audience, McKellen had a thriving career a lifetime before his visit to Middle Earth. He made his West End acting debut in 1964 in James Saunders's A Scent of Flowers, but it was in 1980 that he took Broadway by storm when he played Antonio Salieri in Peter Shaffer's Tony Award-winning play Amadeus....

Historia
Since the publication of the first edition of Critical Race Theory in 2001, the United States has lived through two economic downturns, an outbreak of terrorism, and the onset of an epidemic of hate directed against immigrants, especially undocumented Latinos and Middle Eastern people. On a more hopeful note, the country elected and re-elected its first black president and has witnessed the impressive advance of gay rights. Critical Race Theory is essential for understanding developments in this burgeoning field, which has spread to other disciplines and countries.

Historia
Defying both civil authorities and the Mormon establishment in Salt Lake City, the renegade leaders of these Taliban-like theocracies are zealots who answer only to God; some 40,000 people still practice polygamy in these communities. At the core of Krakauer’s book are brothers Ron and Dan Lafferty, who insist they received a commandment from God to kill a blameless woman and her baby girl. Beginning with a meticulously researched account of this appalling double murder, Krakauer constructs a bone-chilling narrative of messianic delusion, polygamy, savage violence, and unyielding faith.

Clear Agenda
Revisado: 07-23-21
I’m an agnostic and I appreciate the authors position regarding the dangers of religion.
I also wish to start by saying I really respect the authors clearly stating his ideas on God at the very end of the book.
That being said, I believe if he had put his beliefs at the beginning of the book it would change the readers experience entirely and he obviously knew that.
His opinions or so entrenched in the narrative it makes it hard to accept as non-fiction. He knows his reader - white, educated, left-wing and he plays those notes perfectly.
He’s a bigot firmly opposed to religion and his narrative relays that. It’s tiresome to read and unoriginal.
Had he told both sides with as much objectivity as possible, this would have been a good book.
It sounds like I’m religious but I’m not - I just think he’s as bad as some of these Christian nuts you see on TV - he’s just on the other side.
