Better pictures

Good narration, boring story

Luke Daniels did a good job, but some of his tough guy voices were bad. Now the story, well, this book only serves as a conduit to book 3. Nothing really happens this book. The toaster oven A.I and HAM Alien jokes got old. The all knowing A.I misses a critical virus that dumped the crew in the middle of nowhere. General Ram setup as the big baddie, he's nothing but a loser. That's all he does. take Ls after betraying his species. I don't know, this book is a 2.75 out of 5.

Started off good, but started to drag.

I enjoyed the first 6 hours but got tired of listening to this story. When the bad guy was outed, it took away the mystery of the story. The bad guy getting others to drain victims blood was not fleshed out. I got the impression he was convincing others to do his bidding within hours of meeting them. The first killer would have been more interesting in my opinion. Overall a 3.75 rounded up to 4.

Entertaining with solid voice acting.

Book overall is a 4.5. There's some woke crap in here, but it's in between long stretches of action. Solid narration with good voice acting.

Best in the series so far

Excellent story with good pacing. I waited a year to play this version as book 5 have yet to come out in 2025. With that, I did expect more from the character LaCress I think his name was from book 3. I thought he would make a return this book, but never mentioned. With that said, I loved Max handling of the Assassins, basically beat them into submission. Now the Rune Master will cause a problem with the Dwarven God so book 5 should be interesting. Out, book is a solid 5 out of 5.

Runchy story trying to be funny

I knew the Pastor and HIV would be a thing. I figured he might be her father as well. Interesting story that tries to be funny, but comes off as runchy instead. Not recommended

I'm glad this series started back. I enjoyed the Tide with all of intense storylines. This book is about a bunch of hippies and hybrids trying to spread the blight across America. Led by Colorado Singer (I love this name) for whatever religious reasons. Ok, story is unoriginal, but it's fun and enjoyable.

Solid, but predictable.

Like with most crime novels, the killer is introduced within the first 2 hours or so. I picked up on who the killer was after Daisy's passing. The motivation for the killings is what had me pulling my hair. The half sister goes crazy because dad is a drunk and misses his decease wife. She didn't get the affection she believed she deserved and start killing people. First by accident, got a rush and kept on keeping on. That's the story, so I'm knocking a star off. Narration was fine, nothing stood out, but that's also a good thing. 3.75 rounded up to 4 overall.

Impressive, but too short

I love the back and 4th with the grandpa and nick doing his own thing. Only issue is the length, needs to be longer.

Just wow! I mean d@mn!

Last Rock just shot up to the best audio book I've heard. Nick Podehl narration was excexcellent, if not one of his best. Only disappointment was the Blood Ox. Dispatched off screen without going into details of the fight. Also he just looked like a man? I was expected some humanoid Bull or Ox with red stained maul. Other than that? I enjoyed all 26 hours of this title.
