a surprisingly fun listen

i took a chance since there were a lot of great reviews, and i am glad i did. i enjoyed the characters and the narration and the storyline. it might be hard to imagine a relationship with that age gap but being in one, i know it happens. this was a fun listen with the right combo of funny, serious, and steamy.

Amazing story and performance

I wasnt sure what to expect when i bought this as I bought it solely because Zara Ramm is the narrator. Ms Ramm did not disappoint- the accents were so well done.

but i got so caught up in the story- quite different in tone from the regency romances I've beem listening to. Dark, but I looked forward to listening to the story on my daily commute. Well done!

Hilarious, steamy rom com

I don't know how this book comes across when reading the book, but hearing it, as narrated by the always amazing Mary Jane Wells, was laugh out loud funny and enjoyable. The steamy scenes were steamy, and the dramatic scene which developed later in the story, properly dramatic and not so amusing. this has to be one of my favorite audiobooks.

So much fun to listen to!

I loves this collection of four stories about four friends. I laughed out loud during Julia Quinn's story about Beatrice. But credit too to Stefanie Sloane, Elizabeth Boyle, and Laura Lee Gurhke for their wonderful contributions to this audiobook. The four stories wove together so well. Mary Jane Wells amazing as always- I think I would buy anything narrated by her.

Romance with a wonderful story about intelligent women in the sciences

While a lot of the romance stories I read are about strong, capable women, I really enjoyed this story about women being academically and artistically strong. Narrator was enjoyable to listen to as well.

Wonderful book #2- love the narrator!

I really enjoyed book 2 in this series by Manda Collins. Strong women, funny dialogue, and just enough romance. And Mary Jane Wells as usual does an amazing performance as narrator.

I really enjoyed this one- good storyline, very witty dialogue, had me laughing out loud several times actually, but with romance and drama as well. i love mary jane wells as a narrator!
