Well worth the wait!

For anyone who hasn’t read/listened to this series, do yourself a favor and start here. I have been immersed in the Hell Diver universe for sometime, and to be honest I was a little skeptical on how NSS was going to pull this story off. Talk about delivering! Glad I put my trust in NSS to deliver a great story! Rhino’s humanity shines.

Real simple; if you liked “The Road” then this book is for you. 3 very tight stories woven in a world of despair, desperation, and perseverance.

Entertaining, fast pace, and as usual R.C. Bray kills it! I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoyed David Moody’s “Haters” series.

Killed it!

MSF brings another great story alive, and I am impressed because I really found the character hard to like; don’t get me wrong she is a bad ass, but her lone wolf attitude sucks.

Also enjoyed getting a perspective of this particular ZA from a different vantage point, and I’m looking forward to a second book.

The ending the series deserved!

Not going to lie, I am kind of pissed at myself for finishing this edition so quickly. But, all good things must come to an end, I am thrilled to hear the NSS has more on the way, and I am looking forward to the journeys.

Kudos to NSS for the terrific writing, I think he maybe the only writer that could actually make me dislike a guy who lost his home to a nuclear bomb. (We all know who I’m talking about)

I prefer the Long Winter series

I was a big fan of “The Long Winter” so I figured I would give this stand alone a shot. Disappointed in my choice, I would advise readers/listeners to avoid this book; if this is your first time reading/listening to A.G. Riddle. However, if you’re die hard fan; proceed with caution.

This is the first time I’ve read/listened to anything by this author and I’m impressed! If the next 2 books are anything like the first I am even become a fan.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a short tightly written piece of sci-fi. If you decide to listen, Quinto is good, but he does need to work on the character’s voice distinction.

One a day not everyday.

If you are a fan of the AVP universe then this should be on your list of must read or listen. I say one a day not everyday, because they eventually fall into a pattern which can be repetitive at times if you enjoy more than 2 at a time. However, if you treat them like camp fire stories and maybe read/listen to one or two a day; you should not be disappointed.
