Tessa tells an amazing story including fantastic romance without all the fluff. If you want a book with nothing but sex scenes, I can recommend a different author. This book has it all! Action packed story with romance and character development that gives a very clear picture. By far my favorite sci-fi/fantasy author. If you like vampires, magic, and romance, all of her books have all these elements in abundance. My only complaint is that the book came to an end leaving me waiting for the next book. Eric G Dove has an amazing voice with all the right elements to tell this story, including sex appeal. I have actually looked at other books he’s narrated just to here his voice again.

Wonderful story line and well written!

Narrator was great and it was really nice that they kept the same narrator for both books. Tessa Dawn never cease to provide a well written and detailed story without the fluff.

Sad Story, Good ending

I love listening to these narrators. And the story is a good one. I just wish CH would go back to telling stories without 80% of it being sex. All of her books have gone this direction and it's disappointing. I'm very attached the the series, just have to fast forward it through a lot. The story could be shortened into about 4 hours less if they focused more on the story and still had plenty of steamy scenes!

Best book yet!

Wow. This is definitely her best book yet! Get ready for an emotional ride! From tears of anguish to utter joy, the author delivers a story that will keep you ok the edge of your seat.

Beautifully written and narrated!!

Tessa Dawn is a wonderful writer! Can't wait for the next one to come out on audiobook. She always keeps us on the edge waiting for the next scene and next book! I never get bored listening to her books, and this narrator does a wonderful job on all the voices, and he even has a pleasant singing voice. This particular book takes us into a whole other realm too, and every scene is wonderful. Not overdone sex scenes and lag times of meaningless conversation that many other writers tend to write. Can't wait for the next book to come out! So happy to have them on audiobook so I can listen every month as they release them. Going to be disappointing when they run out of books to read, and we have to wait for the next one.

Narrator ok, but female voices whiny. Great story besides

This narrator does awesome male voices, however the women's voices are horribly whiny and annoying at best. The story is well written and enjoyable. True to Tessa Dawn's other books, there is a wonderful romance and passion, but a truly good story not overridden by endless sex like some of my other favorite writers. I am hoping this becomes a series as it leaves much more of a story to be told.

Wonderful addition to the series!

I just recently learned about this series, and must admit I'm hooked! The stories are very well told, and still great romances without the constant overwhelming sex scenes that tends to overshadow the story like so many other writers' series. The narrator isn't good with women's voices, but overall he does a great job of telling the story. And honestly, one of the few narrators I don't cringe when I listen to. The only way to make it better, would be to add a woman's voice to do the parts being told or spoken by women. Anyone into vampire romance novels will be absolutely thrilled with this series!
