Excellent support for her claims, fascinating history of several nations' modern descent into authoritarianism and hypernationalism, and a clear thread of the causes and solutions.

I feel more educated about the politics of several European nations I might not otherwise have gotten acquainted with.

I had been going through an emotional rough patch about veganism and relating to others lately, and this book helped me through that rough period. I'm grateful.

I came looking for insight into the mechanisms, motivations, and challenges of modern media.

This book delivered that, along with a good personal touch from Margaret, someone who I appear to share many values with (honesty, curiosity, and practicality).

The book begins with "a tale of 3 Januaries" which was a really attention grabbing, and puts into context how our modern election denial situation would compare if the parties were reversed. Well done.

The evidence of the strength of the 2020 election and elections prior was thorough, and I feel more educated on specific points of the American election process because of it.

We have reason to be worried, so this book is timely. But we have more reason to hear good opinions on peaceful paths forward, so this book is important.

It's one of those books that keeps your interest the entire time.

But more importantly there is so much rich information on so many different areas of the effort to overturn the election. From who texted who, to who did what, to why a claim does or does not make sense - The analysis is deep, understandable, and comprehensive.

As a former intelligence officer Congressman Riggleman shows he's competent in discussing the political, military, media, and legal aspects of the Trump team's efforts to subvert democracy. And beneath it all is a very human side that keeps the reader enticed the whole way through. Thank you for your voice and your courage, Denver.

The book goes into easily-understandable detail on, how studies are conducted, the biological mechanisms of key diseases, what can reasonably be assumed from results, and how society should act based on those results.

Exactly the kind of science + recommendation balance I was looking for.

Peter Singer draws from global databases, philosophers young and old, and on carefully crafted hypothetical circumstances that help frame a clear argument to how an ethical person ought to view global governance.

Fantastic book, well done. Great narrator.

Very few people exist that I consider accurate purveyors of reality. Harari demonstrates with this book that he's one of them. Recommended for anyone with a keen sense of curiosity or looking to better their mental faculties and beliefs.

Relentlessly rational and yet hauntingly poetic. Well done Jonathan.

I would recommend this to anyone interested in climate change, veganism, the psychology of denial, and anyone looking to find their way in the terrors of human disaster.

As a scientist and a vegan, this was crucial for my intellectual interest, perspective shaping, and emotional well-being. It came at just the right time.

Once again in traditional Earthling Ed style, the book delivers a rationally-delivered, comprehensive, and water-tight case for veganism.

The book is well-organized, well-cited, and carries a compelling case to better our current moral views towards nonhuman animals. Not to mention Ed's delivery is excellent.

New listeners and even previous Earthling Ed viewers alike have much to gain from the book. I gained countless new insights, even on often-discussed topics like animal agriculture's link to disease and pollution.

To top it off, Ed's advice on maintaining relationships and discussing veganism is only outweighed by his personal insights in sharing his own experience as a meat-eater turned animal advocate.

Way to go Ed. Can't wait for the next one.
