Good but felt lacking
Revisado: 04-19-23
In my opinion, I felt that the second book was not as good as the first. This book in the series provides intresting plot developments, and lore exploration. This book felt considerably toned down comparatively to the first book in the series in terms of characteristic extremes. Such as Kip's flaring temper, and Farley's exceedingly sadistic personality. The new charecter cast introduced in this book featuring considerably lacking comparative to the initial charecter cast. Part of this is because I felt that the reader for this book was lacking compared to the last book. The charecter voices were distinctive, but forgettable. The readers voice was not as animated as the first book's reader, and I feel it took away from the book. As for my recommendations for this book. I would recommend it to those who wish to dive more into the lore of this world that has been built. I would not recommend this to those that are not a fan of lengthy plot development. The author uses violence, dismemberment, mutilation, murder, and gore as tools for the story's plot and charecter development.

Kory was having enough trouble in high school. His girlfriend just dumped him, his poetry made him a target for ridicule, and college applications were looming. The very last thing he needed was to fall in love with another boy.

A Book That Is Meant To Hit You In The Heart
Revisado: 04-16-23
This novel is a whirlwind of emotions, and depth that peers into a relatable conflict of love and growth. There is near nonstop strife, and evaluation between the cast of characters. I would highly recommend to those that have an empathetic heart/mindset, and wish to experiance a story that challenges various perspectives. This book sets the main charecters as gay lovers, and shows the challenges that they must face in a realistic modern society. *minor spoilers* This book emulates challenges that many might face such as familial conflict, feelings of inferiority, relationship conflict between partners, being driven from your home and society, and the fears that are faced.*end of spoilers* This book does drag on throughout the story, and has a significant amount of fluff to the story, but in this case I found the fluff to provide endearing qualities to most if the charecters. The reader for this novel did a good job overall. However the reader seemed monotone, for each charecter's voice, periodically through the book.

Historia
For Kip, growing up in shadow of the human men-only Prince George's College of Sorcery has been 19 years of frustration. Magic comes naturally to him, yet he's not allowed to study sorcery because he's a Calatian - one of a magically created race of animal people. But when a mysterious attack leaves the masters desperate for apprentices, they throw their doors open, giving Kip his chance.

An Enjoyable Experiance
Revisado: 04-16-23
The story has some lulls during transitional phases from time skips, and it is keeping the world building progressed. I would not recommend this to an audience that is sensitive to Bullying/Gore/Dismemberment/Acts of Violence. Tim uses these tools as an effective, and progressive way to build this world. Other than this point; I would highly recommend this book. It has high levels of engagement, and world building. It has tremendous depth, and potential to continue and grow. The reader for this novel did an exceptional job at distinguishing each charrecter, and enhancing their individual characteristics. The reader provides various accents, and vocal oscillations to define each charecters moods and actions. This novel has a very extensive vocabulary use, and I would recommend keeping a dictionary, and/or a Google tab open for the periodic word that is uncommonly used in day to day modern speach.

Historia
It has been thousands of years since beast-kind were united under one banner. The empire encompasses most of the known world, driving out or enslaving the lesser races without mercy. In a state of constant war and conquest, they have perfected the art of battle. For commoner wolf-kind Valian, being accepted and trained in a noble house's army was a dream come true. Without wealth or a family, it was his best shot at attaining honor and glory. Until fate intervened. When Valian discovers he's descended from an ancient and long-thought-extinct line, everything changes.

Complete Success
Revisado: 04-15-23
This book is very detailed in terms of situational descriptions, and plot development. I found the concept of this book to be very interesting, and I would recommend to those that like lots of detail and elaboration to their storys. The ending of the book left an open ended finish. If you only want to read this one book. I feel that it can be read as a stand-alone. I would not recommend this book to those that don't like gore and viscera in their books. One of the most extreme causes of this being heads mounted in the form of a pyramid from their slain foes.

Lonnie's slept with exactly two guys in his life: his ex-boyfriend of three years, Steven, and the fox he just hooked up with while drunk at a party. The fox didn't leave his name, just his scent in Lonnie's fur - but a scent is enough for a wolf to follow a trail.

A good listen. Not his best work.
Revisado: 04-11-23
The concept of Cinderella and the glass condom is intriguing. The execution if the story was lacking in my opinion. Throughout the story it felt like almost every subject was cut short. Whether it be character development, interactions, erotic scenes (this especially), etc. The story flowed well together, and it was a good read. The book over all, to put it into Kyell's words, "was a huge c*** tease". I would still recommend this book, but I strongly recommend you listen to some of his stronger works like "Bridges", and/or "Waterways".

Amir wants to meet a guy outside of a bar. Kinzi wants someone who won't cheat on him. Vico just wants a quick lay. In Gateway, when you need to meet someone, there's no one better than sexy, flirty Hayward to get you just what you want - or at least have a good time trying. But when Hayward himself needs someone, who will be there to help?

Beautiful Charecter Developement, and Quality
Revisado: 04-07-23
All of the charecters had their own part to play, and I I felt nothing, but satisfaction from this book. The concept of Hay being a matchmaker, but struggling with his own relationships was an intresting concept. Your talent made the story have immense depth, and I will happily listen to it again. the only think that I didn't like about the book was having to try and keep everyone's names straight XD
