Healing, Love and Forgiveness

Jess Peterson makes all the wrong choices trying to forget her abusive and love-less past. She is very angry and bitter when she meets her new college roommate, Emily, and hates her immediately.
Emily is a wonderful Christian and wants to be a friend and good example to Jess. But Jess wants nothing to do with Emily and does some very mean things to try to make her mad and move.
Chad Michaels, is angry with God for allowing his brother to be killed and vows to never love again. But then he meets Jess and has a hard time getting her out of his head.
When Chad and Jess come together they make some really bad choices, with consequences and they have some hard decisions to make.
No matter what, Emily never stops showing Jesus love and does not give up on Jess. Emily is the kind of friend that we all want to be and we all want to have.
Very good book. As always, Lorana Hoopes is an awesome author and narrator.

Romanace and Suspense

Lost Memories and New Beginnings, is Book 2 of The Men of Fire Beach Series and is another good book by Lorana Hoopes
Tia, a romance author, wakes up in a hospital bed after being hit by a truck with no memory, not even who she is or what she was doing in Fire Beach.
Brody is a widow who never wants to fall in love again and he is Tia's doctor. Sparks fly when he tries to help Tia remember who she is and protect her from whoever is after her.
As pieces of Tia's memory start to return, Tia is not proud of the person she was and wants to make changes that she can only make with God's help and forgiveness.
Lorana Hoopes does a great job narrating the story.

Faith, Hope and Love

Hope is the title of this wonderful story of faith, hope and love, just as written in 1st Corinthians 13.
Hope is also the name of one of the main characters in this story and she had a lifetime of struggles and hard times but she always remained hopeful. I really enjoyed this love story written by Barbara Goss and I highly recommend it. Also, Jessica Caruso does a great job with the narration.

Great Story of forgiveness and redemption

Lawfully Redeemed is a contemporary Christian and a K-9 Romance in The Lawkeeper Series.
Lorana Hoopes narrates another wonderful story of love, forgiveness and redemption.
This story shows the dangers and pain of addiction and how it affects everyone, not just the addict.
Calvin loves his brother, Chris, and has helped him in many ways since their parents died. Chris takes a bad path in life, gets involved with the wrong people and becomes addicted to drugs. Calvin refuses to enable his brother but encourages him to get help.
Dani, is a K-9 officer and gets hurt and stranded in a snow storm while searching for Chris when he goes missing after a crime. Calvin finds Dani and they have an immediate attraction to each other but how can they fall in love while both need to find Chris for different reasons.
Lorana does a good job showing how Jesus is the help we all need in every situation.
I highly recommend this book.

Callie Green, a non-believer, was angry with God and made many bad choices. But Callie, unaware, had many people praying for her.
The Power of Prayer is a book that deals with many hard issues that we face in life, and also shares the good news that there is much power in prayer and prayer changes things.
This is a story that shows we have a powerful God that take our flaws and makes something beautiful.
As always Lorana does a great job narrating the story.

Suspense and Romance

Another great book by Lorana Hoopes. Fire Games is the first of her new series, The Men of Fire Beach. If you love clean, Christian Romance filled with suspense, then this is a must read. I listened to the audiobook and Lorana does a fantastic job narrating the story.
Sparks fly when Cassidy Marcel, a fireman who is being stalked and Jordan Graves, a special unit detective, come together while trying to solve two different crime cases. I look forward to the next book in the series.
Cassidy was first introduced in the book Who Wants to Marry a Cowboy, which is another good, fun story!

Sweet Christian Romance

The Producer's Unlikely Bride is Book Six of the Blushing Bride Series and it is another great love story by Lorana Hoopes, one of my favorite authors and narrators. This is a stand alone book but I highly recommend that your read or listen to the other stories.
Justin Miller has spent ten years as the Host and Producer of a TV Reality Show called Who Wants to Marry a Cowboy with much success but he needs a change . Justin's Co-producer and friend, Peter, sends him on a vacation to the beach to get some much needed rest..
Ava McDermont, a romance author, who has never experienced true love, is struggling with writer's block. Her editor and friend suggest that Ava take a quiet, peaceful vacation to help her write her story.
Justin and Ava, two total opposites arrive to a double booked cottage that they must share (two bedrooms) to receive a full refund. And, that is where the fun begins!
This is a beautifully written story of love, forgiveness, laughter, tears, and trust in God's perfect timing. The book is very well written and Lorana does an excellent job narrating. Great Story!

Christian Romance & Reality TV

Lorana Hoopes is a wonderful author and narrator, she is one of my favorites!
The Cowboy’s Reality Bride is about a dating reality TV show where Tyler, the cowboy, falls quick and hard for Laney, his makeup artist, instead of the 20 contestants that are fighting for him. Laney quickly knows that she that has feelings for Tyler, but she knows that she cannot compete with the contestants, she is there to do his make-up, not date him!
There are a lot of twist and turns, humor and challenges but the best is the power of prayer. Tyler and Laney do not make any decisions without praying about it first. I love this book and highly recommend that you listen to the audiobook!

Beautiful Love Story

The Billionaire’s Christmas Miracle is a beautiful story of love and forgiveness. A story of knowing a person on the inside instead of looking at what they possess or how well known they are. A story where you stand up for what is good and right and you forgive those who have hurt you. A story about God’s love being the most important love and how He leads you to do what is right, even when it hurts.
I highly recommend this book!
