Historia
Do clothes make the man? Jacob Marks cuts an impressive figure in his tailored suits, but Victor Bayne is another story. Nowadays, Vic does his ghosthunting in off-the-rack blazers, polyester blend slacks and cop shoes with nonskid soles. But back before he was a PsyCop - or even officially psychic - he rocked combat boots and a beat up biker jacket, and lots and lots of punk T-shirts. When he finds a faded tee in the back of a drawer, he's eager to lob it in the trash.

It's only a sexual encounter
Revisado: 11-16-16
Aweful, it's only a sexual encounter, almost no story. Just the art of falacio. No different than any other book in the series, don't waste your memory net buy the full book.

Historia
I didn’t ask for any of this. I didn’t ask to be some kind of hero. But when your whole life gets swept up by a tornado - taking you with it - you have no choice but to go along, you know? Sure, I’ve read the books. I’ve seen the movies. I know the song about the rainbow and the happy little bluebirds. But I never expected Oz to look like this. To be a place where Good Witches can’t be trusted, Wicked Witches may just be the good guys, and winged monkeys can be executed for acts of rebellion.

I already downloaded book 2. Looking forward to it. I am a 37 yo man, and thoroughly enjoyed hearing a new version of what happened 30 years later!

Historia
When a baby - only hours old - is discovered on the Amish bishop's front porch in Painter's Mill, Ohio, Chief of Police Kate Burkholder is called in to investigate. The newborn is swaddled in an Amish crib quilt, and the only other item found with the child is a hand-carved wood rattle, which Kate also recognizes as Amish.

Short and Completely different
Revisado: 09-09-15
A different look into Kate's job, makes her start thinking about the future and her biological clock tick tick ticking away. This was another excellent story by Linda Castillo. And wonderfully read by Kathleen McInerney.

Enjoyable story but...
Revisado: 04-24-15
I truly loved the story but was lost by the somewhat automated voice overs when it wasn't needed. Also the story being told through the the eyes of a 38 year old but the narrator resembles a grandfather reading to his young grandchildren. Although I loved the book, I probably will not purchase another book read by this narrator.
