Historia
What really happened on Chappaquiddick in July 1969? Is it part of the Kennedy curse? Did Kennedy kill Mary Jo Kopechne? Why did Kennedy wait nine hours to report the accident to police? Why do all of the hypotheses bring up more questions than answers? Did the Chappaquiddick incident prevent Ted Kennedy from becoming president? Was there a third passenger in the car with Kennedy and Mary Jo? Did Mary Jo drown? Did Kennedy commit any crimes?

I can't believe I paid for this trash. I've seen TV commercials that were longer.

Historia
Born through Adam Weishaupt, in 1776, the secret society group known as the Illuminati have been wreaking havoc on the world ever since. They have fomented wars and have manipulated events from behind the shadows to diabolically implement their agenda of a new world order. People have heard of the Illuminati through popular culture, but most brush off their existence as nothing more than some "conspiracy theory" hatched by conspiracy theorists without doing any valid research that would perhaps discount their existence.

Horribly "researched".

I'll never understand why some people go to the trouble of writing a book but do so little in the way of research that they lose all credibility. Sirhan "somehow got ahold of a shotgun..." Hmm, I could have sworn he used a .22 caliber Iver-Johnson revolver. Sirhan shot Bobby while he was delivering a speech and wounded others in the crowd? With his shotgun? Funny, everything I've read says he was shot in the narrow kitchen pantry of the Ambassador Hotel AFTER his speech. And JFK's life extended from May 29, 1917 to November 26, 1963??? Amazing that he lived 4 days after he was shot with "50% of his brain matter shot out. 🙄 Just really, really sloppy work. Too bad. I was looking forward to listening. Big mistake.

If you enjoyed the chilling experience of In Cold Blood and were at the edge of your seat while watching Oliver Stone’s JFK, you’ll love this investigative look into all the facets of one of the top conspiracies of the 20th century and beyond. DiEugenio, who has spent decades researching the Kennedy assassination, takes both an analytical and conversational approach to his fascinating exploration of the pivotal historical events and scandals surrounding that day.

Important work by a respected researcher.

A detailed, awesome piece of work ruined by an abysmal narration. Imagine seeing an important historical play with all the parts played by Yosemite Sam. That's what this narration was like. I mean, this guy even gave Lee Oswald and Jack Ruby thick, over-the-top Texas drawls. Had he not even seen the abundance of videos of the two speaking? When he began calling Robert Maheu (may-hew) "Ma-hoo" (like Yahoo), I was pretty much done.

Historia
Best-selling author Mark Lane, the first to question the investigation into the murder of President John F. Kennedy, and activist and author Dick Gregory combine their unique perspectives in a look at the assassination of Martin Luther King. James Earl Ray’s guilty plea allowed the government to sidestep a trial, and yet his hearing, conducted without any challenge by a defense attorney, raised many questions. In Murder in Memphis, Lane and Gregory examine these questions and more.

I enjoyed the subject matter and found the book fascinating. I actually wish I'd bought the actual book instead of the audiobook. The narration was horrible! It was so distracting to hear that halting, slow, condescending tone for the entire book. It was like the narrator was reading to a 3rd grade class of special needs kids. Pretty sure that nobody that bought this book needed you to slow down, then pause before each big word. So ridiculous. Kind of ruined the book for me.

"The Lapruder film"? And then he goes on to say "What if I told you I KNOW who killed Kennedy?" What a joke.
