Very interesting and informative

I found the history interesting, very informative, and well researched. However, she should not have read her own work. Her T-glottalization drove me crazy and I had to stop listening. She will do herself a favor by taking diction lessons or maybe just practicing “T” sounds in the center of words.
I did listen to the whole thing eventually and the last chapter covering these wealthy American bride’s contributions to saving British Estates was well worth going back to finish the book.

Stephen Fry is Magnificent

I would listen to Stephen Fry read the phone book, but his obvious love for Sherlock Holmes comes out in this performance to put him over and above all lofty expectations. I wish I had the words and the connections to express my personal gratitude to him for this excellent reading.

The reading sounded like a robot who did not speak English as a first language. Too many mispronunciations. I did like that the stories were grouped together.

Too short

The writing is good but it is too short to be a full length book. The story leaves the reader hanging. Obviously a ruse to get double and triple the money for what should be a single novel, but instead was broken out into a series. I will wait until the anthology to read any more.
