This is the book I desperately needed to start getting my *it together. Detailed and specific without being boring. Offers lots of examples to help you interpret how you can approach your finances. Erin also infuses a healthy dose of goofiness to keep you awake and slightly less stressed out. I still haven’t gotten through all of it because I’m focusing on implementing the first 12 chapters!

Haven’t finished... really boring

Maybe it’s because I have a background in acting, but this book doesn’t offer much more than what you can google and read in a magazine article. Lots of self-promotion by the author as well. I’m trying to get through this book, but it’s painful. He often misuses theories and ideas to promote his strategies.

Some helpful tips, but mostly only applicable for business formal settings. I work in education and need more of a business casual approach. I was hoping it would have a bit more balance and specificity. However, I would totally buy and listen again. There are some nuggets of info that are really helpful.

As a millennial, I feel like every other millennial should read and consider the questions and problems posed in this book. Although I disagree with many of Sasse's political positions, he really does a great job of pointing out some of the stark differences between the old and new generations. There's so much left unsaid and unanswered that needs to be discussed.
