Not one of her best!

I love Helena Huntings books, however this one fell short. Both leads were very hard to like. Normally I can look past this if there is only one, but both pretty much ruined it for me. The sex scenes were badly written and way over the top in a creepy way. There was absolutely Zero chemistry between the leads. Basically this book was a hot mess. Not enough character development and the story was all over the place. I had to stop listening. The Narrators did an excellent job. Unfortunately even they couldn’t save this. My advice to the author; get back to the writing from Pucked series, lie for a lie and Bitter Sweetheart. Now these characters I love!

Huge Disappointment!

I normally like books by this author however this was a huge let down. First off 14 hours is way too long. This could’ve been cut in half and been a bit more tolerable. The story jumped all over the place. There were characters with back stories from prior books I knew nothing about because I did not read those books. Both leads are very annoying and unlikable. Constantly complaining. This was definitely not a sports romance book by any means. Absolutely zero chemistry and love scenes were fast with no passion. I finally had to shut it down there were 5 hours left and I couldn’t take it anymore. I’m going try to get my credit back because I feel like I deserve it.

Male narrator ruined the book

Major Disappointment!

I was really excited for this book. Unfortunately it could of been a lot better. Needed more character development with Ryders family background. Especially relationship with his half brother. Author tried to cram way to much in the last hour that cheapened the whole story. Not sure where all these great reviews are coming from. This is ⭐️⭐️ at best. Major disappointment. If it wasn’t for the excellent narration this would of been ⭐️.

BORING

Unfortunately the narrators could not save this book! There was no storyline it was all over the place and I literally could not get past chapter 7. There is nothing that drew me in to this book.

Very Disappointed

I’m not understanding where all the positive reviews are coming from. I was very disappointed in this book. I’ve enjoyed quite a few Megan Quinn books however some are hit or miss. This was a huge miss for me! The female narrator was cringeworthy.😬🙉 The story was all over the place and there was absolutely NO Chemistry between the 2 leads. I had to stop at the remaining 6 hour mark and requested my credit back. Save your money and credits!

Horrible Boring Writing

The only thing good about this book is one of my fav narrators Erin Mallon. Unfortunately Erin couldn’t even save this! This book dragged and dragged with no end in sight. Don’t let the 1st 4 chapters fool you. It went downhill fast. Boring and never getting to the point. No depth or real passion for the character development and storyline. I will be requesting my credit back. Save your money.

Excellent Book!!!

Horrible! Don’t waste your time

This book is a huge disappointment!!! No storyline. All over the place and Non of the characters were interesting or likable. Not even Jacob Morgan could save this book! LJ Shens recent books have been bad. Love her earlier work. Maybe she’s trying to publish too many books in one year. Quality is better than quantity. 😬

Cringeworthy Male Narrator!!!!!

This is by far the WORST audio book I have ever listened to. Cringeworthy does not even do it justice! The Male narrator should never be hired again!!! I could not get past the 1st chapter. This is my very first review so I can warn others not to waste their credit or money. Clearly Ilsa does not decide on the narrator. If you have ever had the pleasure of listening the Ilsa’s book “Dear Ava” it is night and day the narration is absolute perfection.
