Best Nora Roberts Set Ever
Revisado: 12-09-22
I’ve been reading and listening to Nora Roberts for 30 years. This is gotta be one of the best series I’ve ever read that she’s written. I wish I could find more like it! The character development is fantastic, as is the description of each and everything in the books.

Historia
Colin Hancock is giving his second chance his best shot. At 28, he's focused only on walking a straight line - getting his teaching degree, working out at the gym religiously, and avoiding all the places and people that proved so destructive in his earlier life. The last thing he's looking for is a serious relationship. But when Maria Sanchez crosses paths with him on a rainswept night in North Carolina, his plans are upended in a way that will rattle the foundations of his carefully structured life.

Most compelling book by Sparks
Revisado: 10-04-22
The character development in this book is absolutely fantastic. I loved or hated each and everyone of them like I knew them personally. The story was so well-rounded. It dug deep and was suspenseful and it also had light humor in it as well. Everything I’m looking for when I want to book like this. This has to be my favorite read in years.

Pleasantly surprised

This is my first Sara Alderson book. I will definitely be getting more. The characters were well developed and there were so many twists and turns. Very well written.

Historia
The Bodine ranch and resort in western Montana is a family business, an idyllic spot for vacationers. A little over thirty thousand acres and home to four generations, it’s kept running by Bodine Longbow with the help of a large staff, including new hire Callen Skinner. There was another member of the family once: Bodine’s aunt, Alice, who ran off before Bodine was born.

Brilliant writing & performance
Revisado: 03-02-20
Nora Roberts Road another brilliant story. I don’t know how she is written so many books but they are never the same. Elisabeth Rogers did an amazing job as the narrator. I think she is the best I’ve heard so far.
The characters came to life with her voice and Nora’s writing. This is the first Roberts book that I’ve listen to as an audiobook and I was not sorry. I love to read but I have now found how much I love to listen to someone tell the story. The characters scenery and Story jumped off the page with the narration that was performed. I can’t get over how well Rogers did this book. She flowed into each character voice seamlessly. You could not tell she was reading anything it was just like she was telling a story that she had written. I’ve always love Nora Roberts books but again when you add in narration they’re even better.
I highly recommend trying the audiobook. I don’t think anyone would be sorry.

What’s in a name? A lot. The name Tinaca, for example, has been passed down in the Jones family for generations of women. In fact, the Joneses name a Tinaca every other generation, to let the name breathe a little. To let each Tinaca shine. And shine is exactly what Tinaca Jones intends to do.

Can’t stop laughing
Revisado: 02-07-20
You have to listen to this one as an audible. The experience just isn’t right without sound. I laughed from the beginning to the end! The writing is hysterical and the narrator is even better.

Brilliant end to the trilogy
Revisado: 02-02-20
I’ve never cared for time travel books and I know nothing about D & D. This series is about so much more. The way Mark Lawrence has interwoven all three books and made them flow seamlessly is beyond my imagination. This book is about friendship and love. It has SyFi, bullying, adventure and most important, loyalty.
In the beginning, even though I loved these books, I thought that in the end it was going to be more for the teen D&D crowd. Boy was I wrong! And I’m so glad I was.
Matthew Frow’s narration of this book is also brilliant. Now that this is over, I feel like I’ve lost a friend. Being from the US, I didn’t know if I was going to be able to handle the accent thru all of the books when I started. I was hooked on him after the first five minutes of book one. He is as talented at his craft as Mark Lawrence is about writing. I hope they continue to team up in the future.

Historia
It’s the summer of 1986 and reluctant prodigy Nick Hayes is a student at Cambridge University, working with world-renowned mathematician Professor Halligan. He just wants to be a regular student, but regular isn’t really an option for a boy-genius cancer survivor who’s already dabbled in time travel. When he crosses paths with a mysterious yet curiously familiar girl, Nick discovers that creases have appeared in the fabric of time, and that he is at the centre of the disruption.

Brilliant story. Really makes you think!
Revisado: 01-30-20
I fell in love with these characters in the first book and I’m totally invested in them now. The storytelling in the imagination blow me away. Matthew Frow does an excellent job in the audiobooks. The imagination that Lawrence has will take you from one feeling to the next. I can’t wait for the next book.
This really makes you think about how decisions you make now can affect the future. Lawrence really pulls you in and makes you love each and every character even the ones you hate. I would love to see this as a 20 book series!
