Historia
David was a police officer for my own hometown, and we had seen each other from time to time. I would have never taken him for a gay man, but the feel of his hands stroking me through my pants was a good indication that we were both on the same wavelength.

Narrator was terrible! Robotic and monotone. Narrator sounds like he is just learning to read. struggled to finish the story. Nothing about this story was exciting

Narrator is terrible!!!!!
Revisado: 05-03-13
What would have made My Twin Cousins better?
The story was okay but the narrator either showed no emotion or was over dramatic. Completely took away from the story.
What could Evan J. Xavier have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Different narrator and more sounds from the encounters. The stories a little longer as well.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of James Talbot?
Paul Morey, Sean Crisden or Robert Nieman

Good story but does have a lot of bouncing around
Revisado: 04-24-13
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The way Jory goes from one thought to the next and when people don't keep up with him it can be hilarious. Laughed out loud several times during vol. 1 & 2.
I want to start by saying I really love Mary Calmes books. I did however have a few things that got to me by the end and could just be my own pet peeves. 1 - I understood by the first volume that EVERYONE loves Jory and all the men want to sleep with him or be with him. This seemed so overdone that I started cringing when it still continued in this book. She also repeatedly goes over this with his brother Dane as well as Sam but Jory is focused on the most. Really? No one is LOVED by all. If you follow the series - these are NOT stand alone books so the author should not be repeatedly going over the stuff in the first volume and I see this is a pattern that is to continue in Bulletproof which I am listening to now. 2 - I usually find the endearment "baby" a total turn on till Sam used it so much that it lost the effect. 3 - Jory has consistently through both volumes tried to remain friends with guys that want to still be in his bed. HELLO???? If they still want to be in your bed then they don't see you as just a friend and Jory comes across clueless is this regard. On the upside he has a quick wit, charming personality and I love the fact that his filter is usually turned off and says what he thinks. That is refreshing.

okay story
Revisado: 11-19-12
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
The story was actually ok. The narrator seemed older than what I pictured the characters as in the story so it was distracting from the story
Would you be willing to try another book from Kate Early? Why or why not?
if she has a different narrator
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Lyn Madden?
Robert Nieman for younger characters. Sean Crisden , Paul Morey, or Jack Lefleur for mature characters.

Great Story
Revisado: 07-04-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. I think the story was well written and as always Charlie David does a great job of delivering on the narrators side too.
What other book might you compare Boy Midflight to and why?
Simple Men by Eric Arvin which also happens to be narrated by Charlie David. In both books it's about coming out where Boy Midflight is based around a character that is 18 Simple Men the character is older.
Which scene was your favorite?
When Ashley confronts Chris towards the end and how Michail lets him go to do that.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Yes, I could feel Ashley's frustration in finding love (even though he is only 18). Most of us are hoping to find THE One. I also caught myself laughing out loud with all the self dialog Ashley has with himself. When things are new we all seem to have these same thoughts running through our minds. I'd hear Ashley say something to himself and think, wow, okay I've said that to myself and just start laughing. Charlie also has a way with narration as well. The audio book makes it feel like Ashley is talking directly to you (like he was a friend that was sitting on your couch). Conversations go adrift sometimes and he has to pull himself back to the original thought, just like our everyday conversations. I really loved this book!

Love this series
Revisado: 06-21-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, Andrew Grey is a great author and Sean Crisden is a great narrator.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Robbie, I love when authors have characters that are not perfect, except in the eyes of the person that loves them. Robbie not only had to overcome his blindness but also his overprotective mother and to take the leap of faith that Joey would always catch him when he fell.
Have you listened to any of Sean Crisden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I am a big fan of Sean Crisden's narrations. I did however have a difficult time with the voice he used for Geoff. The first two stories of this series were narrated by Sawyer Allerde, which I thought did a great job as well. That being said the voice Sawyer used to establish Geoff's speech was masculine and the speech Sean used for Geoff was feminine. It was very, very difficult to reconcile these two voices as being the same Geoff. I would actually cringe when I heard Geoff speaking from this book through the rest of the series. When a narrator takes over on a story that the characters voice or speech pattern has already been established they should not change it so drastically as was done with Geoff. Especially when they are a main character.
If you could take any character from Love Means No Boundaries out to dinner, who would it be and why?
It would be a toss up between Eli and Robbie. I find both men fascinating and yummy!

Narrator needs to slow down
Revisado: 02-19-12
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
The story was pretty good but I was frustrated by the narration. I kept thinking if he would just slow down then more of the emotion would come through.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of David Tunic?
Charles Carr
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
