I have enjoyed both both books. The narrator and accompanying sound effects are fun and a really nice touch. The story is fun. I would really recommend taking a chance on both books so far. I am looking forward to more.

delightful, absurd, dark, all over the skeleton of a noir detective story.

I got this book on a whim and am so very glad that I did. It's your basic detective story but the world created around it is wonderful and dark, and kinda resembles the here and now. The characters are interesting, and Issac and Dr. Stevens are just great. I found the sound effects to be a great addition to the reading. I find that it can be hit or miss when the author reads their own book, but Mr. Rigby does a fantastic job. please give this book a read so that the author is encouraged to write more!!!

I really enjoyed this book. The aging assassin story turned on its head. I liked all the characters and wish this could go further, but because it starts at their retirement, there's nowhere to go. And please don't do prequels.

I really enjoyed this book. It would make a really good PBS mini-series. It's your basic murder mystery, but the time and place, and supporting characters is what makes this story shine. I do hope that Mr. Mukherjee writes another Wyndam/Banerjee book. It's nice to read a story about colonial India where the Indians are the true heroes.

I think I enjoyed this one better than the previous books. The characters have more substance. It also alluded to the story coming up, the confrontation with the Faceless Man, Leslie, and maybe Nightingale and Molly will be given even more shape and dimension.
