Historia
The town of Spindrift is frequented by all kinds of Shadow Mages and charlatans. It's also home to the Orphanage School, where Finlay lives with Glim, Taya, and Eli. Just outside town is the painfully posh Brathelthwaite Boarding School, home to Honey Bee, Hamish, and Victor, Duke of Ainsley. When the two schools compete at the Spindrift Tournament, the stakes are high, tensions are higher, and some people are out to win at any cost. Before long, the orphans and the boarding school kids are at each other's throats.

So wonderfully written: creative, entertaining and well-narrated. These books are gems! We can’t wait to read the next one.

Historia
In her hit Netflix comedy special Baby Cobra, an eight-month pregnant Ali Wong resonated so strongly that she even became a popular Halloween costume. Wong told the world her remarkably unfiltered thoughts on marriage, sex, Asian culture, working women, and why you never see new mom comics on stage but you sure see plenty of new dads.

So fucking good
Revisado: 01-24-20
I love how Ali’s unapologetic honesty makes me feel more free to accept all the parts of myself as a woman. Her focus on her ancestry and her enlightening remarks about what it feels like to be Asian in the U.S. have helped me to regard the people around me with new eyes, and sincerely shed light on my white privileged perspective (a continual work in progress). Thank you!
I also really relate to her pop culture references, being born in the same era (the Little Mermaid 😀🙄🤦♀️!!! as well as hip-hop culture). If Ali’s work was just dick jokes I would have been out a long time ago, but her comedy is actually medicine; addressing issues of culture, racism, and women’s rights all while you laugh uncontrollably.
