Historia
How well do we really know the people sleeping next to us in bed at night? After a tragedy strikes the Barnes family, Sarah's husband Tom begins acting strangely. It starts with wild mood-shifts and accusations at their thirteen-year old daughter, but quickly escalates to the attempted murder of an off-season mall Santa.

An instant favorite! So Tender and Terrifying at the same time

I honestly don’t know where to start. I picked this up on a whim and didn’t know what to expect. The idea of a holiday horror novel just sounded fun and we needed something to listen to on the long drive home for Thanksgiving. No more than a chapter in and my wife and I were hooked. The characters are incredibly well formed and their stories are so well told! The story and the people in it are so grounded in reality that you almost start to believe this all actually happened. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but the way the book is formatted is incredibly unique and the pacing is spot on. We honestly didn’t want it to end. At one point I missed my turn because I was so into the story, I double back and literally missed the turn again. This is my childhood home and I know the route like the back of my hand but I was just so into the story that I struggled to focus. I think my wife said it best “We have to turn it off for a bit, it’s too good and I am afraid you are going to have us driving in circles until it’s over.
Pick this one up, it will not disappoint!
Oooo final thought… the audio book is the way to go on this book… for reasons… I don’t want to spoil it
