I was thrilled to see a sequel to the Lace Reader but a bit put off by negative reviews. Nonsense, the book was wonderful, the story mesmerizing, the characters fascinating and the narrator perfect! And like Brunonia Barry's other books, it left me feeling shaken by the interplay of intuition and madness. I also very much enjoyed seeing characters from the previous novels again even though they were not the main focus of this one. As with The Lace Reader, the insights and intuitions, mysteries, and resonances of the book really stay with you for a long time.

What a pity that researcher Nick Thatcher turns out to be so drool-worthy, and that his kisses make Maggie want to sit up and beg.

What did you love best about The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf?
The genre of romance supernatural is obviously not great literature, but Molly Harper's books about the werewolfs of Crescent Valley Alaska are a lot of fun. The characters are engaging and amusing, the stock romance plots are well-executed, the supernatural aspects are well done.
What other book might you compare The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf to and why?
This book is a sequel to How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf, but I think the books could be enjoyed in any order. I did not find Maggie, the heroine of Art of Seducing, to be a particularly sympathetic character in the first book, so I was not sure how much I would like her as heroine in the second book, but it was fine.
Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi???s other performances before? How does this one compare?
The audio performance is great, the narrator does a particularly good job with the witty dialogue between the characters.
