Historia
In this eye-opening audiobook, New York Times science writer Gina Kolata shows that our society's obsession with dieting and weight loss is less about keeping trim and staying healthy than about money, power, trends, and impossible ideals. Rethinking Thin is at once an account of the place of diets in American society and a provocative critique of the weight-loss industry.

More truth debunking eat less/move more and anyone can be thin.
Revisado: 02-27-16
This well thought out and informed author has the courage to tell the truth about the scientific and diet communities and their biases. The fact that obesity is not understood and no one has the answer is explored here. The usual diets of low carb, calorie, or fat all fail. Perhaps moderate amounts of fat really are protective. True scientists are brave enough to explore all questions and report the truth whether or not it fits with their biases or hypotheses.
