Historia
Robert Spencer, one of the world’s foremost critical scholars of Islam, has been labeled public enemy number one by those who apologize for Islam and its violent excesses. He has been called a propagandist, a racist, and an “Islamophobe” - a term that he willingly embraces in this provocative and important book.

Robert is on point regarding the risk to our culture and governance, but Iwas distracted by the odd inflections of the reader.
Revisado: 02-26-24
I have read several of Robert's books. I find him fair and well researched. I am disappointed that he no longer can act as a
trainer on the subject of radical Islam with our FBI due to their Spencerphobia. That being said, this piece focuses more on the cultural cost of bowing to Islamic activists and the redefinition of key doctrines by Islamic apologists. Having read the Koran and spoken with my Muslim friends, I find little of what the media says about Islam to be accurate. Denial of reality in areas where it might offend may be popular, but it can also be deadly. Unfortunately, the oddly inflected reading distracts from the effectiveness of this book.

Historia
There are two ways to be a hero. One is more violent than the other. And the universe needs a hero, because a mysterious entity known as the Fathom is terrorizing the known universe and seizing control. But they’ve made one mistake: They woke Rico, the universe's greatest killer, from a coma. And he’s decided he might be the good guy this time. But being a hero isn’t easy. Rico has to work with others (not his favorite), and the impossible odds means it’s going to take an insane scheme or two (more to his liking).

Super Ego is Super Satisfying
Revisado: 12-10-20
Flemming's latest installment in his story of the Psychopath seeking to understand humanity has brought Rico to a new venture with the odd combination of Dianne and his father. He is tasked with locating and destroying The Fathom, a reportedly unknown alien race seeking to control the know universe. Rico finds himself in the foreign position of team leader of a team he doesn't want to lead. DIP continues as the voice of his conscience, cuing and cluing him in to the actions he needs to take to work with other beings. There are twists enough to keep the reader engaged and visits from the characters one thought lost after the explosive ending of the last novel. Rico's development fro Uber Hit Man to Hero of the Universe is engaging and, at times , poignant. Something ,I am sure, Rico himself would hate.
