Historia
Racist pseudoscience is on the rise - fueling hatred, feeding nationalism, and seeping into our discourse on everything from sports to intelligence. Even the well-intentioned repeat stereotypes based on "science", because cutting-edge genetics are hard to grasp - and all too easy to distort. Paradoxically, misconceptions are multiplying amid today's unprecedented surge of research on human genetics. We've never had a clearer picture of who we are and where we come from, and the science, when accurately understood, is a powerful and definitive ally against racism.

Slightly Misleading Title
Revisado: 11-23-24
This was an enjoyable and informative read. My only complaint, a bit to pick, really, is that the title was a little misleading to me. While the book certainly puts forth an argument against racism. However, as Americans have learned the hard way in recent years, facts and reality usually only entrenches people in their mistaken beliefs. There is no strategy to deal with this reality and really it is not within the professional scope of a geneticist to expertly opine on anyhow.
It’s a small quibble, though. I definitely recommend this book for laypeople interested in learning about genetics and racism.
