Mixed feelings

This gives amazing insight to a perspective that not many understand (those who haven’t gone through it). There were moments of laughter, “Wow” and moments that made me cry.

At first I wasn’t sure what to think but I am happy I stayed with it to the finish. I really enjoy that there were multiple narrators because it really brought the story to life.

As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

I love books that have unpredictability. The narrator is one of my favorites because she is not monotone.... she does different voices for different characters and is very consistent.

Love the series!
Revisado: 06-15-21
The main character is hilarious and my humor is quite similar. The narrator is wonderful because he uses the tones clearly intended by the author in every way. Really paints a clear picture for the reader in my opinion.
I have read other reviews on other sites about the books: especially the first book. One woman really shredded it from her pedestal for proper English etc. To her... NOT EVERYONE SPEAKS THAT WAY! Personally, I think its written in a more natural way of speaking rather than some AMA format. That being said the first book in the series was this author's first book. He admits faults in his writing... but not regrets.
The 3rd book in comparison to 1st, 2nd and 4th is the slowest. Not boring just a little bit slower but it hops around a little more than the rest; so still important to pay attention to it.
Over all I love this series and how its written.

Loved it
Revisado: 06-01-21
I love this book and one that I would also get in print to make my own notes, highlights etc. even though I have the audible. Always really enjoyed Gabrielle Union’s performances and the sincerity she brought to her characters; she’s always been a favorite of mine. So when this book came out I always wanted it (anxiously awaiting her next one and will be pre-ordering it on my next pay check).
What I loved about this book was not only that Gabrielle herself was the narrator but how she was so real with not only the reader but herself and how in the past coming to that was also on going. Frankly, there were a couple parts that I was like “That is some S#!+ I would do” with a laugh. It had parts that my heart goes out to her for what she has experienced and to other people from the perspective that she shed light on. This book really furthered my fondness of her.
