9 hrs and 27 mins I will never get back

This book was so bad that I'm writing a review, It makes me wonder, who is really writing the reviews, It's the worst book I have ever listened to and most people agree with me, yet she gets a 4.2. hmmm. Childish writing, its almost like she got her ideas from 50 different movies she watched on lifetime and she extracted scenes from it. The writer tries to perceive the main character as a decent woman who's been through horrible abuse, yet she sets these boys free to abuse more women. Maybe this book would have worked for me if I was reading it in 1920. But not today,

Not the right voice

The tone of lead character does not match the ordeal she was going through. too chipper to happy it was distracting and took away from the story
