Historia
World War II continues, and Ada and her brother, Jamie, are living with their loving legal guardian, Susan, in a borrowed cottage on the estate of the formidable Lady Thorton - along with Lady Thorton herself and her daughter. Life in the crowded cottage is tense enough, and then, quite suddenly, Ruth, a Jewish girl from Germany, moves in. A German? The occupants of the house are horrified. But other impacts of the war become far more frightening. As death creeps closer to their door, life and morality during wartime grow more complex.

Heart moving book!
Revisado: 01-14-23
After reading The War That Saved My Life, I read this book. A book of overcoming, bravery, and discovery of one’s self. Ada learns about herself, and chooses to rise up in the midst of challenges the confront her. I highly recommend this book.

Just Sad 😭
Revisado: 07-09-20
I dislike this book kinda because of all the sad parts the story is so intense and sad and the performance was sad to for the people we lose and the betrayal of families I would like Kenrick to still be with us and at least let lady Gisela to love her son and be sorry and hug him and that there would be forgiving but overall I am obsessed with Keeper I love it my sisters read it to but I want Shannon to do one thing make Sophie and Keefe together 💋👄😻👫❤️#SoKeefeForever

Historia
Twelve-year-old Sophie has never quite fit into her life. She’s skipped multiple grades and doesn’t really connect with the older kids at school, but she’s not comfortable with her family, either. The reason? Sophie’s a Telepath, someone who can read minds. No one knows her secret - at least, that’s what she thinks.... But the day Sophie meets Fitz, a mysterious (and adorable) boy, she learns she’s not alone. He’s a Telepath too, and it turns out the reason she has never felt at home is that, well...she isn’t. Fitz opens Sophie’s eyes to a shocking truth....
