Fantastic
Revisado: 05-27-24
Atlas is the best conclusion to the Seven Sisters series, Lucinda's son did a fantastic job of explaining why Pa Salt was so mysterious in all the books. His story was intriguing and difficult but the conclusion and end was celebratory.

Lady Sherlock getting worn out!
Revisado: 02-01-24
This story was not as interesting as the first few Lady Sherlock. While the theme was credible the continual dialog of the passengers was exhausting.

Historia
For Michael Stirling, London's most infamous rake, after a lifetime of chasing women, of smiling slyly as they chased him, of allowing himself to be caught but never permitting his heart to become engaged, he took one look at Francesca Bridgerton and fell so fast and hard into love it was a wonder he managed to remain standing. Unfortunately for Michael, however, Francesca's surname was to remain Bridgerton for only a mere 36 hours longer.

The Best Narrator Ever
Revisado: 01-03-24
This was not Julia Quinns best but the story was good even though longer than needed due to repetition and too much detail of sexual encounters. At least with audible, one can fast forward through both even though I could listen to Rosalyn Landor forever.

Revisado: 02-14-23
This was difficult to get into at the beginning, so I tried to return. It turned out to be a better story than I anticipated. It was well organized with each chapter telling the story of that character.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Happy not to be related to an Heir of Royalty
Revisado: 02-01-23
This is a story that needs to be told, as he reveals with much detail. Paparazzi would not be able to destroy the lives of the rich and famous if the non factual press was not supported by consumers who purchase the lies. The palace is another institution filled with ego driven managers more interested in self preservation than the mental health of individuals. This environment has unique impacts on all members of the family.
Harry's writing is quite good and with his world travels and experiences, I hope he becomes a novelist. The 4 stars are due to the length of detail about the military equipment,, code names and etc. So it could have been a bit shorter.

Historia
At the end of the Second World War, Cyril Conroy combines luck and a single canny investment to begin an enormous real estate empire, propelling his family from poverty to enormous wealth. His first order of business is to buy the Dutch House, a lavish estate in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia. Meant as a surprise for his wife, the house sets in motion the undoing of everyone he loves. The story is told by Cyril’s son Danny, as he and his older sister, the brilliantly acerbic and self-assured Maeve, are exiled from the house where they grew up by their stepmother.

Any Mother Leaving Children is a Difficult Story
Revisado: 01-17-23
Listening to Tom Hanks was the best part of this because the story was not compelling. The attachment to the house was figuratively the desire for Mom`s return. The chronology of events was too mixed up. I only finished because I wanted to learn what happened to the brother and sister and see who would end up with the house. It was a long listen.

John Tradescant’s fame and skill as a gardener are unsurpassed in 17th-century England, but it is his clear-sighted honesty and loyalty that make him an invaluable servant. As an informal confidant of Sir Robert Cecil, adviser to King James I, he witnesses the making of history, from the Gunpowder Plot to the accession of King Charles I and the growing animosity between Parliament and court.

Not her Best
Revisado: 01-10-23
Very disappointing after reading so many of her others. It was long, repetitive and boring at times. She finished the story of the landscaper and set up the story of his son for the next book, which I will pass.
Glad I could fast forward through a lot of it.

Sir Phillip knew that Eloise Bridgerton was a spinster, and so he'd proposed, figuring that she'd be homely and unassuming, and more than a little desperate for an offer of marriage. Except...she wasn't. The beautiful woman on his doorstep was anything but quiet, and when she stopped talking long enough to close her mouth, all he wanted to do was kiss her... and more. Did he think she was mad?
