Historia
Longtime fly fisherman Quinn Grover had contemplated the “why” of his fishing identity before, more recently, becoming focused on the “how” of it. He realized he was a dedicated fly fisherman, in large part, because public lands and public waterways in the West made it possible. In Wilderness of Hope Grover recounts his fly-fishing experiences with a strong evocation of place, connecting those experiences to the ongoing national debate over public lands.

Great Listen!

Downloaded on a whim during a road trip. This book left my husband and I with nostalgia of our own experiences in fly fishing. It made us itch for the opportunity to stop at the first river we came across to sling a line in. Definitely a good, relatable read for any avid fisherman with a genuine appreciation for both fishing and our public lands!

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Great Listen!

Although I will agree that the narrator doesn't have a wide range of diversity in her voice among character roles, she does a pretty decent job overall. Don't let those nasty reviews fool you into not giving it a try!
The content of the book itself is wonderful! I might have enjoyed reading it more, but listening to it was great too. I really enjoyed the build up and subtle hints. The ending left me with unexpected satisfaction.
