Historia
In this compelling and gripping book, Preston tells the story of how God chased him. The streets of Chicago were his home, and it was there that he encountered all sorts of people who had their own versions of the truth―from Jehovah Witnesses to Mormons to Hebrew Israelites. That is where Preston discovered not only the importance of the truth but how to tell the truth in a way that speaks to someone’s heart. Sharing our faith is not about winning arguments; it’s about winning hearts.

Real and inspirational
Revisado: 09-18-24
I truly enjoyed listening to this. I’ve read a few books on faith and other testimonies but this was an amazing story. It felt so real, honest, and refreshing. I have always believed in God but never knew how to approach people or what to say to defend myself from my beliefs. This is something I can enjoy to listen to again and get the book too so I am reminded of how to tell the truth. The reader performs very well and I felt the emotions come through. I recommend listening to this, you will not regret it.

What do you do with a little kid who...won't brush her teeth...screams in his car seat...pinches the baby...refuses to eat vegetables...runs rampant in the supermarket? Organized according to common challenges and conflicts, this book is an essential emergency first-aid manual of communication strategies, including a chapter that addresses the special needs of children with sensory processing and autism spectrum disorders.

Parenting Relief and Support!

I loved the real life stories because I could relate with them. It felt good knowing that I am not alone because it’s extremely difficult to find guidance for constant struggles with our toddlers. This was so enjoyable and very helpful. I can do this!

Best Parental Guide!

I loved this and it felt very relatable. Especially the ending where other parents shared their stories and experiences. It made me feel better about my feelings of failure in parenting but having this knowledge makes me realize I am capable of doing better for myself and all those around me.

A recent family loss has impacted our lives and I only wished I knew how to help a teen girl who lost her mother, who was my cousin. It’s hard to imagine that kind of grief and sadness but Gary Roe uplifted me with knowledge and tools of simple things I can do to show her support during this difficult time. Thank you. I highly recommend this book.
