Why did this take me so long to listen

I will admit, I tried multiple times to listen to this. I would start it and was like no I can't follow along. One day I started it and was like well whatever happens I will listen and I do not know why I waited, why I struggled it was a good story. There are multiple characters, many POV's, and I was angry with the authors on some of the choices of the characters that ended and mad and kept hoping that the story did not end with the ones I hated surviving. It made the story more interesting because you think nothing will happen to these main characters but then that twist out of no where. I definitely recommend this story.

Intense, entertaining and heartfelt

So I will admit, there were some characters that just made me cry. Yes, I cried. You want them all to succeed but when some things are going great and them some things don't and it is just a crazy apocalyptical world and you just emotionally connect to some of these characters and you just hate everyone that does them wrong. The storyline was so intense sometimes, that I would have to pause the story because I just didn't want to know. The narrator was great and I enjoyed listening to her tell the story.

When the story started you felt bad for the mom, not knowing what happened to her daughter. The character draws you in and you figure this is what it would be like to have a child go missing. Then the story builds as she trys to navigate with her remaining children, her ex-husband, and a new relationship. But there are some twists on who did it, who helped and just how did it all happen.

Anticipation was building

I cannot believe this story. It was so good, starts a tad slow but you have to hear how all these women became friends and what leads to the murder of one. Truly splendid story and I was mad and elated the entire length of the story for the main character as you want her to succeed.

So scary it could be true

In the beginning you are elated this wonderful girl found such a prince, but then things start to get odd. What will she do, how will she save herself and her sister from a despair. Who knew she would have an ally in the end without trying. This book had me cheering her all the way, I was down when she was down and up when she was up. Hard not to relate to the character.

I love Ron Ripley stories, he has great detail. The characters are always well written. The suffering his poor characters go through. The stories are thrilling and scary and i love it. The narrator does a great job and his voice adds to some of the creep.
