Historia
Sebastian Frost frequently found himself marrying women he barely knew. His first wife demanded that he marry her as payment for saving his life, his second tricked him into marrying her, the third he married to secure an alliance, and his fourth was Lysandra. Lysandra was the only woman that Frost chose to marry and she was also the future mother of his child. He thought that after marrying Lysandra he would be finished marrying women he just met but it seemed he was mistaken.

Why Does It Cut Out So Much
Revisado: 04-19-25
This is one of my favorite series, in what is becoming a quickly oversaturated genre. So imagine my excitement when a book that has been "delayed" for so long finally was released.... only to have so many portions of the story missing (cut or improperly edited). I removed the book and then reinstalled it again, thinking it would make a difference but it didn't. There were far too many instances of it for me to give it a higher rating. 😢

Historia
On a typical day, on an average train platform, two warring sister goddesses found their avatars. One avatar, the young Yoshi, was swept away to the world of Ephemera to be a great hero of honor, courage, and light. The other, the not-so-young Seiji, was swept away to become a dark lord out to kill or conquer all in his path. But Seiji is in absolutely no mood for that nonsense. It's bad enough that on Earth he was a closed-off, misanthropic grouch with zero patience for other people. Now he's supposed to muster enough of a give-a-damn to lead vile hordes?

Allllllllmost There
Revisado: 11-04-24
This book presented a character that was endearing, funny, and intelligent. But failed to show real power and maturity. As it's only book 1, it makes sense that Seji would be managing not only by luck, but "manipulated" by the women around. Can't wait to see more growth.

Historia
Taken from my old life with little memory of what brought me here, I wake up in a high tech capsule. A wrinkly old elf tells me that my soul is incomplete and has been fused with that of a Solar Dragon to give me a second chance at life. Where? When? An urban metropolis filled with fantasy races, erected atop the back of a giant asteroid. Meteoropolis. And millions of years in the future, to boot. But that's not all. I've got super powers, too. To add to the excitement, I end up hosted by an anxious unicorn elf named Pinky Peach who is basically a professional gamer girl.

A Brock-Star Is Born
Revisado: 07-23-24
I've read a few of Knightley's stuff. and they're all relatively solid. But this one is his best series. This book is filled with humor, and spice, and everything nice that true Harem book is supposed to be filled with. I honestly hope that the series doesn't end anytime soon.

Historia
Whether they were a snake-haired gorgon, a colorful slime woman, or a 15 feet tall Oni, they were free to live peacefully in Pluma Territory. For many of the creatures, living peacefully was something they never dared even dream of, so it was only natural that they traveled from all over the continent to reach his territory. If only the humans would let them. Sometimes it was guards in a neighboring territory killing them for sport, sometimes it was a village stealing all of their supplies, and sometimes it was slavers attempting to profit.

Right Where They Left Off.
Revisado: 09-23-22
I've been waiting for this 4th installment for some time. But it was worth the wait. Experiencing Frost's growth along with his compatriots is just what you want to see in a fourth book. And the GoT type of twists that was added gives the book some weight, and helps it be more than just an over the top (yet we'll done) "love" fest.

Glad I Got The Series For A Token
Revisado: 08-11-22
This book was hard to start. Finally when it started to build up there were so many parts that didn't make sense. And then ultimately the ending was so lack luster it made me want to throw my damn headphones. Where's the meme of the guy ripping his headphones off?!

Revisado: 06-25-22
There really isn't much to say. MK does what he needs to with all the characters. Theo continues to get stronger and seems to find out exactly what he needs to do to beat his enemies. I hope that the 7th book isn't the last.

Slowly Warming Up
Revisado: 06-15-22
book 4 is a solid continuation to the series. it has built on the world and the abilities a lot better than the previous 3. the most unfortunate part is the first 3 books of this series are lacking and that anyone that enjoys this genre has to fight through 3 books before they see this growth

Long And Sustaining
Revisado: 05-31-22
I didn't anticipate liking this book as much. It started off with a level of weirdness I wasn't quite ready for but did an incredible job of building the world around it. One of my few disappointments is that over the course of a 36hr tale, 2 of the main characters didn't really have a back story flushed out. Either way the book has me sucked in. I hope that the follow up is just as long as detailed.

About Time!!
Revisado: 03-31-22
This was a fantastic continuation to the first novel. Abrams development and the building of relationships was done extremely well. Watching an anti-hero debate with making moral choices as well as his own sanity was dope. I just hope the next book doesn't take 1000yrs to get released and make its way to audible.

Revisado: 03-23-22
i have at least the first 5 books of all of Oster's series. And this is by far the one that makes me not want to wait till the next release. my kids and I are in love with Roy, his growth, and his journey. This book specifically adds to the mystery of the Buroku world and depth of the world as well. I'm THISSSSSSS close to creating a Buroku wiki like they have for Game of Thrones.
