Tough Crowd? Good read.

I picked up this audiobook out of curiosity. I loved watching Father Ted and am aware of Graham's involvement in the 'Gender Wars.' I was hoping to get some more juicy details, I suppose. There weren't many here. There are places where more details could have been provided.
The heartfelt narration by Graham makes up for any shortcomings in storytelling.

I initially read this book about 30 years ago. I knew when doing a re-read that there would be some outdated tropes. There are. But some of these things were more acceptable when this was first written.
There are some key scenes from the text which do not appear in this audio. It's a shame because they are referenced in subsequent scenes. New readers/listeners would find this confusing.
The narrator was great though. I would listen to more of her books.
