New characters and chaos!
Revisado: 01-08-22
Loved this! Jessica Redland’s books remind me of a British version of the Mitford series by Jan Karon. The Characters have flaws and have to find their way. Samantha (Father Tim) seems too good to be true with her ability to forgive. But I love that about her and wish I could be such an optimist! The endings always leave you with a hook, which makes you anxiously await the next book in the series. Enjoyable read.

Another home run
Revisado: 01-25-18
I love stories from the south! Every character I can visualize and relate to. It's like a story from a family friend. I absolutely hate when I near the end. Jenny (Big) is such a strong female and Lizzie (Little) needs every bit of that strength once she is broken. Mosie the coming of age teen gives these 3 generations of women something to fight for. Love, love , love this book!!!

Love Sully Carter!
Revisado: 10-31-17
Neely Tucker describes his characters in such a way , you think you know them personally. While Sully is a cantankerous old cuss, he's very likable. I'v enjoyed each and every book!

As I listened I was drawn into the poverty region of D.C., something you rarely read about. Kept me guessing almost to the end! Would recommend!

Death is reporter Jack McEvoy's beat: his calling, his obsession. But this time, death brings McEvoy the story he never wanted to write - and the mystery he desperately needs to solve. A serial killer of unprecedented savagery and cunning is at large. His targets: homicide cops, each haunted by a murder case he couldn't crack. The killer's calling card: a quotation from the works of Edgar Allan Poe. His latest victim is McEvoy's own brother. And his last...may be McEvoy himself.

Great story with twisted ending!

Liked it from the beginning. The reader just didn't "sound" like the character to me. But, beyond that an enjoyable book.

Love John Grisham 's Way of educating his reader while entertaining them with a good read. I would have like to know the outcome of Sam litigation, but that could be in the sequel?
