Great story and a then some

I liked that it was a bit different from her usual stuff. I was inspired from the way she describes how hard it is to actually stay away from carbs so that Naiomi can be her best/ healthy self. This character was very realistic for me. - plus the ending , oh gawd I loved it!

I love books featuring violent women. Its probably unhealthy but that's me. In this series the mc grows as an individual. I normally don't really care too much about that but the author put Brit on a journey of redemption that was interesting and exciting. thats my 2 cents

I have to say that Molly Harper is definitely one of my favorite authors. I'd like to think that we could be great friends based on the characters she creates and the hilarious dialog throughout the book.

audible please stop recommending this "crap" to me.
one man's trash is another's treasure. .. is true. I am sorry that Audible's terrible algorithm for recommending has caused me to give this book a bad review. Its not fair, I know. I have no business leaving a review. however measures must be taken to alter my recommendation list.

I want to start by saying that the idea of a fumbling heroine who doesn't take herself too seriously is unique and I like it. However, the story itself needs more. More personality in the other characters. More rewrites and editing. More of why the "shadow" is so against having a mate. sidebar- I'm not usually a fan of the whole "reverse harem" trope, but it kinda works with what story there is.

Brilliance thy name is Eve Langlais

This story is by far my favorite of hers. Now I don't leave reviews, but this story deserves every word of praise and each of the 5 stars I have to give.
The main character has all of my favorite qualities violent, capable, driven, snarky ... etc.
I'm upset now. I want more of the story, but there isn't any yet... Get working Langlais!

The series keeps getting better...

The story and characters keep maturing, like a good whiskey. The authors have been able to keep it up without falling into a predictable trap mold. Still well written and entertaining. Also, this narrator is "awesome sauce". The voices and accents are all very impressive and add to the story.

My favorite part of this story are all the CAPABLE, INDEPENDENT, STRONG FEMALE CHARACTERS!
Thank you Danielle Jensen for adding this story to the universe. Seriously, thank you. I cannot accurately express my enthusiasm for violent female characters with weapons and wit. I just loved this story.

Wishing I could experience it all over again for the first time!

narrators were great. weird transition music was a nice change from the normal audiobook format.
