Historia
It is a week since the outbreak began in New York. The president has been betrayed. The vice-president is dead. The conspirators are close to victory. Having narrowly escaped agents of the cabal, Tom Clemens heads to Washington in the hope of warning the president, but it is too late. The highways are impassable, filled with millions fleeing from the cities. As refugees storm the towns, and zombies fill the smoking ruins, survivors become more deadly a threat than the impossibly living dead.

Excellent Story and Narration
Revisado: 10-16-22
The Here We Stand series is excellent. If you are a fan of the Surviving The Evacuation and Life Goes On series, then Here We Stand is required listening.
Theodore Copeland does an excellent job, he varies his voice with different characters so it is clear who is talking. I find him pleasant to listen to.

Historia
Tom Clemens has been living in the shadows for years, searching for those responsible for the death of his family. Framed for murder, he is on the run when the first outbreak occurs. With thousands of others, he fights his way out of New York, and joins the exodus searching for a safe refuge in America. On that journey he learns the identity of those responsible for the betrayal of the species, and of a scientist who might be able to stop the living dead. So begins his quest to save humanity.

Zombies in America, with a Twist!
Revisado: 09-18-22
The Surviving The Evacuation series crosses the pond in this first book of a two part series. This story tells the events you of the Zombie Apocalypse from the perspective of Tom Clemens in America. It is a fast paced adventure with characters I’ve become invested in and really care about.
If you’ve read or listened to Bill Wright’s journal of the Zombie plague and evacuation of London and all inland UK cites, then this is a must listen! The reading is solid, with different voices used for different characters, and great inflection and tone matching the story.

Historia
When Pete Guinn traveled to Australia to find his missing sister, he left behind the woman he loved. In the city he once called home, panic and chaos arrive long before the living dead. As South Bend burns to the ground, Olivia flees, seeking safety in the remote woods of Michigan. But the backwoods are no safer than the outback, and nowhere is remote enough to escape the horrors of the living dead.

My favorite in the Surviving the Evacuation / Life Goes On Series
Revisado: 09-06-21
Mr. Tayell has created a fascinating post apocalyptic world with his Surviving the Evacuation series. He presents the events in this world from different perspectives through carious characters whose paths often intertwine. Mr. Tayell also has a real talent at creating characters that feel so real, you’ll grow to really care about what happens to them in as they fight for survival.
I’ve read 20 of the 24 titles in Surviving the Evacuation series, and this is easily my favorite. If you are new to this series, I highly suggest
You give it a try - either with the very first book in the series, set in London - or with the first book in the Life Goes On series - which begins in the US. I think you’ll fall in love with Bill, Pete, Corrie, or Tess.
Also, Patrick Zeller’s narration is excellent. This is the first audiobook in the series I’ve listened to - I’m excited to hear more.
