Such a wonderful story! It had me going and guessing til the very end. Wonderful characters and Vera is so funny and cute. I hope there is more Vera to come.

A Great Story!

This was a wonderful story. McCurdy is so brave to tell it. The only flaw was the narration. I wish she had just did a forward and let someone else read the rest. But it was a great story.

No one knows what really happens in someone’s life, until that person decides to share it. Harry’s life has been one of such tragedy, but yet he emerged triumphant. Bravo to Harry! Such a touching story.

Hilarious!

Wow! I hardly ever write reviews, but I just had to for this one. It is so funny, I couldn't stop listening to it. I didn't want it to end and I still find myself listening to portions of it over and over. Please have more laugh-out-loud audio books such as this!

If you could sum up Something Like Forever in three words, what would they be?

Eternal love story

What was one of the most memorable moments of Something Like Forever?

As a dog owner, it broke my heart when Chinchilla, Tim's "little princess" became sick, and passed away in Tim's arms.

Which character – as performed by Kevin R. Free – was your favorite?

Definitely the character Marcello Maltese. Marcello is so delightfully naughty and pompous, but with a heart of gold. Kevin R. Free seems to have the most fun with this character as each word from Marcello is purred to perfection.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Love never dies.

I'm still crying. The characters of Ben and Tim are the greatest love story ever told - I'm serious. I fell in love with both of these characters when I first read Jay Bell's first novel in the series: Something Like Summer. The series has been a long one, but I really believe this is the best book of them all. Forever had so many twists and turns, so many edge-of-you-seat moments, it was such an awesome experience to listen to. But oh, the story of the love between then and all they endured. I know all things must come to an end. But I didn't want the story of Ben and Tim to end. Not now. Not ever.

This book was long and wonderful. The story takes you there, right there with Linbaba - both his story and that of India. Though the love and loss, through betrayal, forgiveness, never ending friendships, and most of all the courage to never give up. This is a book I shall cherish and never forget. I encourage everyone to to give it a listen.
