Can’t say about the story I could not stand the sing song drone of the narrator so stopped listening. And his constant inside-joke intonement, sheesh, if the story is funny let the humor come through the writing and gentle humor of narration don’t hammer it like a laugh track.

No. Never.
What could Therapeutick have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Put some substance in the book. The sample had all the substance. So don't waste your money or points on the book itself. The author never really got going. She just seem to keep on introducing the subject over and over again.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Therapeutick?
Narration was good, the best part.

The author until she learns to write.

Good story telling

Good old time story telling! I enjoyed this audiobook quite a lot. The story had something I always like: local color. The author clearly loves the West, horses, and ranching / farming and she writes beautifully about these things weaving them throughout her story. The story had lots of rugged action. Characters are interesting although leaning slightly towards romantic cliches, but buoyed by the wonderful writing. A story to enjoy.
