A heartwarming and often times touching first hand account of the events during the Regan Presidency. I especially appreciated the little stories that never made it into the news. I found myself laughing at Regan's favorite jokes and crying during President Regan's final battle with Alzheimers. Easy to listen to if you use a Garmin GPS while driving (like me) and I appreciated the author reading his own book. He's a very good writer. No wonder why Regan had him on his staff.

It would be easy to say this is a book about US historical trivia but that would deprecate the accomplishments of men and women who, while mostly forgotten by history, helped shape our country in profound and positive ways.
This book was easy to listen to with my Garmin GPS when driving.

Once again, the time flew by while listening to this book as it did for me with Culture Warrior. I especially enjoyed the insights into Bill O's past and the honesty as Bill spoke about his own mistakes. There are lessons to be learned from these words.

Hard to Listen to On my Garmin GPS

The voice of the reader was hard to hear on my Garmin GPS whileI was driving on the highway. I also felt that the reader sounded a bit boring at times. like a previous review I also found chapters rather void of information. The book is not useless but I was hoping for more.

not as good as I hoped

Honestly I have mixed emotions about the book. There were parts I liked but the author comes off cocky at times which I found annoying. Also, considering the book is over 8 hrs I DID NOT LIKE how the author continually tried to get me to go to his website for more information on various topics. The "Bible" doesn't say "thou shalt not steal; now go to www.god.com for the top 10.5 tips on why stealing is bad"... Obviously the author wants to collect my info so he can sell me stuff down the road. Thats selling I know but it was just a little too much for my tastes.

I listen to audio books when I'm in the car and this was the worst audio I've ever heard. It sounds like it was spoken over the phone. Its ironic that a book about PR would be so badly produced.

This was a pretty good book for those just starting out and learning the ropes. David is easy to listen to and usually takes nothing for granted choosing his words carefully to foster the learning process. Even though the book is only about an hour, its an information packed hour.

I have to say this book does not lend itself well to listening - especially if you are driving as I was when I obtained this audio book. There are many parts where I had to think about what was being said - not good if your driving. I think to get the most out of the Art of War, its better if you read the book and digest it at your own pace.

The book was a good overview of many different opportunities to market ones services. as for the book reader, I didn't find his voice too hard on the ears in fact the he reminded me of the voice heard at the intro of the old Outer Limits TV series of the 1960s
