First off anything vanessa narrates I end up loving, like EVERYTHING. Second, i fell in love with the curse of the gods series and this series is even better. This second book had me crying!!! I went through the motions. But overall I’m super impressed and cant wait for the third year to come out.

Interesting blend

I really like how this book blended in so well with the first and second book as far as details with events happening between Lexi and the stalker. Definitely blew my mind when I found out who the stalker was..I thought Jordan for a while and even dylan...definitely surprise me! Loved that shocking detail! I was kind of upset about Lexi doing stupid things..my mind hasn’t changed about that. She’s always forgetting something and it always making the decision worse...how is someone stalking you and you forget to show your uncle evidence?! You live with him and he’s a cop..come on 😩 lexi’s life isn’t that busy she should forget something as easy as that...but I understand certain things had to happen to lead to other events. But I’m just saying, she’s always forgetting her bracelets too when it comes to the ghost..she’s 17 not 70 why does she have dementia?? Just saying, small pet peeve of mine.

Otherwise book was amazing, can’t wait to get the next one, definitely worth the read.

Just meh 😒

It was an ok story. It really brought nothing to the original story. You could read the first book and guess the intention of taryn the entire time. As you know from reading the cruel prince jude and taryn consistently talk about how they cannot fit in, that’s pretty much what this is about in taryns pov. She onviously gets jealous of jude and complaind how she can’t find her place amongst anyone including her own family. It’s honestly not worth the buy. The only part that is intriguing is the deal taryn made with loche at the end, but it’s not something we don’t already know later on in the first book. Otherwise taryn is extemely crappy as a sister, and she’s borderline crazy obsessive about loche. But honestly, don’t waste your time.

CAN WE MAKE A CARDEN POV BOOK HAPPEN??

I absolutely loved this book better than the first. I really loved how close her and carden had gotten. I really feel like at the end he banished her to save her life, almost like he tried at do at the revelry, trust and all...i was hoping he’d show up at the end in the mortal realm..i seriously want the next book to come out soon because obviously it’s not over. I want a book on carden’s point of view for this one. At least until the next book comes out. I’d really love to know what was going through his mind because there were many times when He paused or had a look and I really wanted to know, like jude, what he was thinking. Can we get a point of view book on carden please????

I wish that the women could just be a little tougher. I would love any queen that has that butt kicking mentality like she could actually physically hold her own in a fight. I really hate weak female characters.

Vanessa is the best!

The first 2 books are really really good as far as story and character development. But this book seems a little rushed to me, like its kind of missing that something to capture my attention, i almost feel like there could have been a little bit more done when she was in hell. But other than that, i loved the story still, cant wait for the next book.

Absolutely loved it and can’t wait for next installment

I started reading clockwork angel and have continued the series all the way til now and i am super impressed by the whole collection. It’s well written, well Narrated, and i love how all the characters tie together. I was super happy to have my girl tess in here again playing a major role. I loved julian and emmas relationship, james marsters really captures the emotions of the characters. There’s so much more i could rave about but i feel like I’d spoil it. I can’t wait for them to pick up with kit and see what kind of shadowhunter he’ll be. This dark artifices
Series, is by far my favorite out of the entire collection. I promise you , it wont disappoint. And if you haven’t read the clockwork series, start with that first and everything after that ties in and makes sense because that is where everything originally started.

Vanessa moyen is why i got this

I love vanessa, she does the curse of the gods series by jaymin eve so when i saw that she was the narrator for this series i had to buy it. And it didn’t disappoint. I love the story, and the character development and I can’t wait to read year two. Love it, keep it up!

Hated the girl who narrated it

Story was super slow, dragged out so much, guy was a great, girl was not. I would get the second book just to see if the story progressed better than in this book, but im seriously in no rush to get it.

Hard to follow Story at first

I love any book with a good story line but this story seems rushed. There’s got to be some buildup and charcter development but idk..not alot of backstory...I was about to quit listening halfway through. It does get better towards the end but..its your choice if u want to listen. Not a fan of the story but i love the accents of the narrorator which is why i gave this 4 stars instead of 3
