Historia
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Surprisingly good
Revisado: 12-03-24
I normally not a fan of these types of books. This one was a daily deal and fell in love with right away. It had me cracking up through the entire book. I hope the rest of the series is just as good

Historia
Inside our military is a team of operators whose work is so secretive that the name of the unit itself is classified. Highly-trained in warfare, self-defense, infiltration, and deep surveillance, "the Unit," as the Department of Defense has asked us to refer to it, has been responsible for preventing dozens of terrorist attacks in the Western world. Never before has a member of this unit shared their story — until now.

Historia
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

Great story then the xxx came and killed it
Revisado: 02-26-24
My 13 year old daughter loves dragons and saw this book. My wife and I wanted to read it so I download audiobooks to listen to it first the story was absolutely great. It really got my interest and then sex came it felt like it never ended and it completely killed the story for me. Discussed with my wife and we figured my daughter at least learn something may not be in a good way so read it, put it down every bit of it again then the sex came and completely killed the story for her. I’ve never seen her sit and read for so long, in a single period. Now she does want to listen or read the second book because the story was killed for her. Overall, the reader was great, the main story was great. Just wish the sex out of it.

It took a second time for me and wow I am glad I listened again
Revisado: 04-17-22
When Age of Myth came out I picked it up right away and listened to it. I remember thinking it was good and waited the second book. Needless to say I picked up all the books until I hit the third in this series then for some reason stopped. Probably because I did not remember the first two and did not go back and listen to them again(mistake!!!) fast forward to the release of Nolyn. Picked it up and loved it and some thing in the book triggered for me to go back on listen again to the Age of Myth finishing the age of death now and loving this series!! I am so glad I went back and listened again. You would think I would have learned on the crown tower did the same stupid thing and now it’s one of my favorites and probably listened to it about 6 or 7 times already. The series is great I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I am

Surprisingly loved it
Revisado: 03-05-21
I love John Gilstrap’s books and have listed to all of them many times. I have admit I did have to question if I would get this one. I do not care for end of times books and pretty much stay away from them. Obviously I gave it a chance and could not stop listening to it. All I have to say is WOW I really enjoyed it look forward to the next one.

Historia
The magic flames are raging. Blades are melting. Souls are reduced to ashes in the fury of battle. The grand finale of the war for the First Temple is upon us. The last trump cards have been played, the reserves are all exhausted, and even the gods have engaged in the plebeian fight. The universe is on the point of collapse. Broken are the chains that held the worlds together. The icy waters of the Baltic cool the scorching sands of the Frontier.

First 3 books were great then down hill
Revisado: 07-12-17
The first 3 books were great then they just went down hill from there. I don't know why I even picked this one up. I guess I was hoped for better and I listed to all the rest. The performance was great, story was so so.
