So many noises

I think I have developed a personal hatred for the author and narrator, the author for writing out every single annoying noise from breathing to drinking instead of just saying what was happening, and the narrator because he was the one I had to listen to. Other than the half of the book filled with weird noises the story itself wasn't bad.

Ok ok, maybe I was a bit rash. The narrator really did do great work and was forced to play out the god awful noises because that is his job. Without all the extra the story itself is really good and even though I know I'm going to hate the noises, I'll still be getting the next book on audible when it comes out.

But those noises... LMFAO

The story is fine but the narration is meh.

I feel like I would enjoy the story more if the narrator didn't make me feel like he was rushing every sentence. It sounds like he's speaking so fast that he has to take a breath after every sentence so it never let's the reader immerse themselves fully into the book because of the constant jerky(stop and go) feeling.

An enjoyable story

I think my only really complaint that stopped me from giving the story 5 stars is the fact the main character keeps saying he is in and has been in "survival mode" but does everything I feel like is the exact opposite that someone who is trying to survive would do and think, and because of the that conflict it didn't feel genuine to me. But other than that I really did enjoy the story itself and can't wait for the next book to come out.

A really great second book

It's a great addition to the series, very funny and very entertaining. But the author still hasn't achieved the perfect ratio on what is funny ranting and what is ranting that inevitably turns into excruciating long run ons. I had to skip through quite a few times during those moments because it just wouldn't stop otherwise. Lol But besides that it really was a great and fun book to listen to.

I had to stop and write this out before continuing because that was the funniest and most entertaining prologue I have ever heard. It had me trying to control my laughter while driving down the road.

Went from 4 star to 3 star, it only took half of the entire book to finally get to anything and after that there is a lot of boring ranting. It's starting to pick up but I feel like it'll slow down again soon, we'll see.

The fourth wall breaking.

I love the story but the breaking of the fourth wall was really getting to me in the second book. Plus everytime the narrator says baby to the bird it sounds really freaking weird. LMFAO

As I got closer and closer to the end of the book I'm wondering to myself how in the world this was supposed to lead to a series and not just a one off, but that ending was brilliant. I can't wait for the next addition in world of Pyresouls.

Well that was funny

Lol Well I enjoyed that. I'm pretty sure all the authors other books have been pretty serious about its plot and progression while this series is way more laid back and chill in my opinion. If you go into it wanting another serious litrpg you may be disappointed, but keep an open mind and I'm sure you'll enjoy it too.
