Historia
It seemed the unthinkable had happened. Someone had actually targeted the Ghalian, an order of assassins known and feared across the systems. It was madness. Only a fool would go after the likes of them. But, it seemed, the galaxy had no shortage of fools. Retaliation most bloody was in order, and one man stood ready to spring into action. Hozark was his name, and he was no ordinary man. He was a Master Ghalian, an assassin skilled in the ways of death. Practical, mechanical, magical, to him it made no difference.

MGUNS Review Space Assassins
Revisado: 03-06-25
initially thought this 5 book series would be a tough read/follow given the number of chapters etc. I must credit both the author and the narration in that they accomplished much that we all desire, the ability to hold and capture the audience throughout. The misdirection, the battles, personalities and challenges within the characters also offered its own twist which allowed you to be drawn in. Though some of the cliches were telling, they fit right at that moment which speaks to the authors awareness of the warrior spirit-and the narrative emphasis at that moment. Overall very good storyline and premise including the final epilog - which kinda figured would be the closer (smile).

Built To Last, the defining management study of the 90s, showed how great companies triumph over time and how long-term sustained performance can be engineered into the DNA of an enterprise from the very beginning. But what about companies that are not born with great DNA? How can good companies, mediocre companies, even bad companies achieve enduring greatness?

MGun's Good 2 Great Review
Revisado: 02-03-25
if you subscribe to books/narratives whose premise is to make your organization better then you will find nuggets within that will assist in that investment. However I disagree fundamentally in that it is extremely paramount to have the correct people invested in your objectives that it equally imperative to have the same level of humility in order to succeed. One must "embrace the suck" as we say in the Corps in order to achieve the objectives or targets. Failure to adjust Courses of Action, at key moments are triggers for mediocre outcomes or worse. I was born through Military Principals and Traits- so the duplicity in this book is unintended word-salad. However the goals as narrated are achievable for those seeking indoctrinated formula such as that surmised. MGun's

Human bones have been found in numerous sites deep in bayou country, and the locals aren’t too excited about having outsiders poking around in their business.

MGUN'S Review
Revisado: 12-11-24
This book cam with a lot of hype and unfortunately the peripheral characters out-shown the main female lead. Jade the FBI female lead was predictable and somewhat weak. The naive portrayal in the narration was also a contributor to the low rating. The supporting characters Renz her Agent Partner, Conway and the other Bayou Billy Bob foll all fit there role to keep pace of the storyline moving in the right direction. Hopefully whatever is next is stronger otherwise I'll be dropping this authors series.

MGun's Review
Revisado: 12-01-24
As this is a Prequel I'll grant a little leeway. Storyline and premise had promise but the drop-off at the end was predictable and didn't really elevate the reader wanting more. As series such as these are in abundance many of us can get to the "tell" early. Will look for next one to challenge and offer misdirection elevating the main character as well as her daughter's inevitable exposure and naivety.

Sarge's Review Reacher Saga
Revisado: 10-04-24
This was a very good storyline and the closing misdirection adding to the complexity of the storyline was worth the wait. A little weak on tie-in with his mentor Gen Gerber from the prior series/story (book), but made up for it bridging other past influencer and his daughter. Hope the next one is as well written

Sarges Summary
Revisado: 09-27-24
Good storyline and explains the vulnerabilities of victimization under cults and the arrogance of privilege. Snotty individuals who isolated themselves from societal norms only to grasped for help when their coping mechanism are taken away. The paradign to bridge Austin's challenge of finding peace in isolation while grappling with loss, to Ahab and Moby Dick was a good analogy.

Historia
Two lonely towns in Colorado: Hope and Despair. Between them, 12 miles of empty road. Jack Reacher never turns back. It's not in his nature. All he wants is a cup of coffee. What he gets is big trouble. So in Lee Child’s electrifying new novel, Reacher - a man with no fear, no illusions, and nothing to lose - goes to war against a town that not only wants him gone, it wants him dead. It wasn’t the welcome Reacher expected. He was just passing through, minding his own business. But within minutes of his arrival a deputy is in the hospital and Reacher is back in Hope.

Sarge's Review
Revisado: 09-11-24
This one was an easy listen. Bit disappointed in the end as I am unclear how Reacher and the local femme Officer were able to walk away basically unscathed after unraveling the core case. Good twist in the middle but I was able to connect the dots mid- way and it suddenly became predictable...

Historia
March 11, 2004. The Madrid train bombings kill 193 innocent civilians. What the terrorists didn’t know was on that fateful day they also succeeded in creating their worst nightmare. No one knew who he was, what he looked like, where he came from, nor who he worked for. He was a sniper who could take a target out from 800 yards to a mile. He could kill with a long gun, short gun, or no gun. He was lethal with edged weapons, explosives, poisons, or no weapon at all. Targets could be executed from afar or die with his breath in their faces.

A Review...
Revisado: 08-29-24
Appreciate the balance, the semblance of Military Operators and their efforts to extend a sense of realism for the novice or uninitiated. Enjoyed the hunt, and the delicate balance that "Rex" has to maintain without yet going over the edge due to the in-action of State-side politics (can be frustrating). Let's see what the next book delivers in anticipation
