Historia
A grieving young widow, Charlene needed a new start - so she bought a historic mansion, sight unseen, and drove from Chicago to New England to start turning it into a bed-and-breakfast. On her first night in the house, she awakens to find a handsome man with startling blue eyes in her bedroom. Terror turns to utter disbelief when he politely introduces himself as Jack Strathmore - and explains that he used to live here - when he was alive. He firmly believes that someone pushed him down the stairs three years ago, and he won't be able to leave until someone figures out who.

I didn't like it
Revisado: 08-02-19
I had a hard time listening to this book. I found the characters to be unrealistic and the story moved slow. I gave up because it wasn't enough to keep me interested. Callie Beaulieu is not one of my favorite narrators but she did an ok job in this book.

Historia
It’s Christmas Eve, and Violet Parker has one request on her list for Santa - to make it home to her kids. Unfortunately, “home” is also the lair of her life-long nemesis, her sister Susan, aka the devil’s concubine. Standing in Violet’s way is Old Man Winter, who slammed the Black Hills with a show-stopping blizzard. However, a little snow isn’t going to ground her sleigh, not with family counting on her to deliver Santa’s goods.

Shame on you Ann Charles
Revisado: 07-29-19
Any book in which a mother excusing one daughter for sleeping with her sister's boyfriend because as preventing a future divorce, is not a book I can finish. I love this series, but I can't listen to that kind of emotional abuse. It's no wonder Violet's character is extremely insecure. Shame on you Ann Charles!

Not For Me
Revisado: 07-26-19
The mystery and characters are formulaic and flat. The story is predictable and not very interesting. Susan Boyce isn't one of my favorite narrators.

Historia
Baylee Scott has the gift of touch. Except it’s not a gift. Seeing other people's memories doesn't make her very popular in Reed Hollow. It was one of the reasons she left the small town as soon as she was able. But after losing her ghost-hunting husband, Baylee returns home to help her brother run the family business: a defunct antique shop and tea house. It’s a dull existence that leaves her dreaming of adventures elsewhere.

I didn't like it
Revisado: 07-16-19
I barely got through the first book in this series. I couldn't force myself to finish this one. Sophie makes really stupid decisions through out the book, and I there were several times when I got lost in mindless dialogue. I finally gave up on it.
