Historia
As war rages in 1944, young army lieutenant Lucas Athan recovers a sarcophagus excavated from an Egyptian tomb. Shipped to Princeton University for study, the box contains mysteries that only Lucas, aided by brilliant archaeologist Simone Rashid, can unlock. These mysteries may, in fact, defy - or fulfill - the dire prophecies of Albert Einstein himself.

Good Performance, bad story
Revisado: 03-08-16
Performance was well done with nice character transitions and very good accents. The story started with promise but fell short of a good plot. Ending was very weak.

Historia
CIA counterterrorism operative Mitch Rapp falls prey to government forces with an agenda of their own after Dr. Irene Kennedy is named the successor to dying CIA Director Thomas Stansfield—a choice that enrages many inside the world’s most powerful intelligence agency. Her detractors will resort to extreme measures to prevent her from taking the reins—which makes Rapp an expendable asset. But Mitch Rapp is no one’s pawn, and he will stop at nothing to find out who has set him up.

Horrible Narration
Revisado: 09-29-15
Great story, multiple intriguing threads, real thriller...terrible narration. Nick Sullivan's voice has an overpowering nasal quality that just gets worse when he uses alternate tones and accents to represent different characters. At points in the story, he sounds like the squid character from my children's sponge bob squarepants cartoons. Great story, true to Vince Flynn's talent...but I really wish they'd re-record with a better narrator.

Great Story, Terrible Narration
Revisado: 09-05-11
The story is one of the best Rapp novels ever...and I've listened to and read nearly all of them. The narration is awful. Besides some of the complaints that the narrator just doesn't do the voices well, I can be forgiving of that, the issue I have is that Sullivan is so out of touch with the story line that he doesn't even pronounce the words correctly. Example: Anna Really?...How about Anna Reilly (Rye-Lie) or how about that famous .50 cal sniper rifle the Barett (Sullivan: Bar-Ette - like you wear in your hair), instead of the Barett (Bear-Ett). Little things like that drove me crazy all through the book...luckly the story was so good, I kept listening.
