A bit predictable but action packed and lorefilled

the main plot is a little predictable but overall the action, insight into the lore of both the Ossiarch and thr lumineth make up for it. performance was quite good convincing accents fleshed out some of the characters.

Robot Girlyman's Worst case scenario.

A brilliant edition to the Horus Heresy detailing the Imperium Secundus, Guilliman's attempts to keep the Imperium alive in the event that the original should perish. A well read novel with a total of 5 primarchs interacting and multiple interesting sub plots which tie together nicely with the coming of Curze. Definitely worth a read if you like Ultramarines or John Grammaticus. I was thoroughly entertained by Abnett's writing. Also worth a read if you are interested in Vulkan's fate and the Pharos.

Waste of time and unnecessarily long.

This book reveals only minute details of the overarching narratives. The amount of filler is shockingly repetitive and predictable. The supposedly interwoven tales in this book would have served better as short stories and the ending was exceptionally disappointing.
The Narrator was quite good but the story is frustratingly long with content that deserved far less time and focus.
If you aren't a large fan of the HH series or of Vulkan or Kurze specifically this is not a recommended title.
