This book was so unrealistic!! I know many women caught up in domestic violence go back time and time again but this girl took the cake! She had to be the dumbest character I've ever read about in a book!! it was a short lesson so I did finish it which was shocking but if it wasn't for the narrator I would have given this book one star!!! this book had me so angry and confused I had my mouth open for the whole 5 hours in disbelief!! How are you a lawyer but you listen to a criminal school you on the law?? The ending was just plain ridiculous!!! What was her reason for doing that? Did she really think she'd be able to get away with that? Didn't they say the little girl looked just like the father? So tell me how was that going to work out when she came back home??? This book and the first book are the only books I've read from this author. I have one more book from her and even though I hated this one I do like her writing style.. So I'm going to cross my fingers and hope for a better outcome on my next journey with this author!!!

I'm Shocked.... In a good way!!

This is my first read from this particular genre and I have to say I think I'm hooked! I was not prepared to fall in love with Connor or Memphis but I am deeply in love with them! Both of them.. Just like her!! I liked her from the first page and I'm so happy because she carried this book and could have carried it on her own but the men were a delicious extra treat! I've downloaded two more from this genre and I've been disappointed with one already and that's only one chapter in so I feel like this might be a rare Jewel and I wish it would have never ended!!

I cannot take Honey Jones!!!

All of my favorite books have her as a narrator? Why????? I cannot get with the voice!! Either it sounds like she's a white girl trying to read a hood book or it sounds like she is a little older trying to sound younger??? Her narrating voice just sounds fake I'm sorry!! she ruins every book for me I could not get through the first chapter.. I gave it four stars overall and four stars for the story because I'm almost positive it's a great storyline but I cannot do it with her reading... I'm so happy I got this book for free or I would be even more pissed off than I am now!!! Maybe Nicole Small is booked and busy or she costs too much but they need to upgrade because this is just disrespectful to your readers/listeners.... Step y'all brand up dammnnn!!!

I needed this book!

I needed a change from the urban fiction and this was exactly what the doctor ordered! This book was a fresh insight on issues that we're currently dealing with and the same old same old issues that unfortunately we also still deal with on a daily basis! I appreciate this author for breaking the monotony of my audiobook selections...I had one credit and it was well spent... Thank you so much Tracy Brown for coming through and delivering as usual.. I am, always have been and always will be a fan... Xoxo

I am devastated and heartbroken because I am done!

I have been rocking with this author for almost 20 years or at least it feels like it! She should have left well enough alone with the last book because this trash was horrible!! What was that ending about? Did they forget what book this was for cause that last chapter had nothing to do with anything or anyone associated with this catastrophe of a novel?? Seriously my dude in a crazy hospital?? Are you serious Ms. Clark? I'm sorry there is no way that she is the author of this book! she must have been busy on another project and had a deadline because if she is the true author I'm all the way done with her and her dynasty forever!! I put too many non-believers onto your books Miss Clark for you to do us this way!! We have both resided in Ill-Town, N.J. and I expected more from my used to be favorite Author!!! I liked the narrator but I really wish he had different voices for different characters... If they didn't say the name I wouldn't be able to tell who he was talking about.. Just switch it up a little Mr. Marcellus...Cary Hite easily differentiates the characters even if it's a woman without doing a woman's voice you feel me? Please don't be offended by me comparing you to Mr. Hite cause I mean no harm I swear.. I believe you have potential but for urban literature we need some voice variations okay that's just for future references.. I've listened to other books you've done narration for so I am a fan because you have skills..

Yes Jessica Yesssssssss!!! I'm not going to do any spoiler alerts but I am thrilled with this book and I just downloaded part 2!! A whole bunch of my favorite narrators plus one of my favorite authors I knew this had to be as good as it was and it did not disappoint

AM I THE ONLY ONE OFFENDED AND FED UP WITH ASHLEY

I am so tired of this author taking so much of my money, my heart and my time! Why are you stretching this series out like this? Haven't we given you enough of our hard-earned coins? Seriously? So another 6 months to wait for Morgan's dumbass to ruin everyone's life around her? Is that what we're going to wait for AGAIN? Is it me or is Bash and his Mama the biggest gangsters in this damn book or am I tripping? For Dummy to " love" her family so much she doesn't trust them at all? Then the way you left us hanging makes seems like she's still going to still be with him even after he whooped her ass and had her whole entire circle thrown in prison? She is a fool! She is your fool! Do not let her go out like this because at this point I hate her! If it was not for the men in the book I would have been gone a long time ago and I am going to be hesitant to listen to the next one because I'm over this and I'm over this author and her shenanigans! It's so many good things about the book or maybe it's just because we waited so long for it to come out? I just don't know what to think anymore?? I'm so disappointed with this author and her main star Morgan Weak-Ass Atkins!! Ashley is just playing with our emotions and abusing our attachments to these characters to fatten her bank account which is the name of the writing game but give us more substance and growth!! Make it worth the wait Ashley!! We pay good money for it and and dedicate so much time out of our busy lives to listen to it and I'm tired of you not delivering! If it wasn't for Nicole Smalls I wouldn't keep come back! She's the reason these books are what they are and why these characters are soooo endearing! Never lose Nicole and step your pen game up sis! You can do it Ashley and you better do it because you owe us for riding with you all these years!

I'M SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS NARRATOR!!!

I'm on chapter 3 and I cannot go on any further because this narrator is horrible!! I'm definitely about to swap this book which is so disappointing because I just started reading books by this author and I really loved the trust no bitch series! I'm really pissed because I already purchased part 2 I hope I can swap that too! I ordered this book because I was very excited that the story was set in Newark, New Jersey which is where I'm from but we do not speak like this! He sounds super country and super corny! Not cool!
