Really enjoyed all the stories. So many different circumstances. One of my favorites was Delores. To be kidnapped and turns out to be your old friend after a crook then turn around and end up helping them catch the crook they were after. Very enjoyable stories. Nice experience listening.

This is a book of love and the struggles of dealing with racism. Two women and 2 men of different origins needing the help of God and a town with accepting people to help them find a place for them to be accepted and able to be loved. Joanna with a man of mixed Indian and white blood, having to win over her mother's approval most of all. Adele with a man that was forced into a slave after the dr died that raised him and educated him as his son. Then his freedom papers mysteriously disappeared and the cruel slave owner made him his slave. A very exciting story from old civil war.

Crime stories that really happened.

The narrator's voice was perfect! It was dramatic and clear when speaking. The stories were some things I have heard in the past but had forgotten. I had not had a lot of experience with audible but this was a positive experience. I would recommend this audible to any that want to listen to stories of crimes.

I really enjoyed the story and the orator had a great voice to listen to. Some things are too g. ood to put down. listened to the entire story in 1 day. It is really a thrilling book. Love Lance and Ellie. They were meant to be together.
